Malik Butchers — Restaurant in Wolverhampton

I stumbled into Malik Butchers today by curiosity; An artisan Halal Butchers is a bold and novel statement to make but I must admit I was mind blown and quickly corrected that this was not a misrepresented claim as soon as I walked into the shop. As soon as you enter you would fail to notice the expertly presented Lamb Crown and various meats on display. The staff are masters at their trade and have pride in their product and service delivery. I have used Halal butchers for over 35 years and I have not found one that could even match this place for cleanliness. The price was a little bit more than other cheap and cheerful butchers; but then again I have seen first hand how their products are sourced and delivered and that the consumer is a secondary consideration when shifting volume. They make their own bespoke Halal sausages and I even heard talk that they were still in the process of perfecting a unique garlic and meat sausage which was not being sold until the quality was worthy of their brand; that is the talk of experts who want you to have a unique and fine dining experience and a conversation that I never thought I would hear in a Halal butchers. The lamb ham was a delight as I was offered a sample of the wares whilst waiting for my mutton to be cut. These guys do not know me, have never met me; but made sure that I left with a good impression. I think this is my first review of a Halal butchers and I never even thought I would be writing a review of Butchers on google but this place and staff deserve full credit for me feeling compelled to produce this. It is always a fantastic welcoming and excellent experience shopping at Malik Butchers. What a fantastic bunch of people with excellent customer service and a warm and friendly experience. I ended up purchasing 14kg+ of meat of various varieties from steaks mince burgers and sausages as well as the various chicken selection they have boneless and whole bone in chicken for curries and jerk chicken etc. All the flavous are fantastic i have also now tried the black garlic which is absaloutly fantastic also their Argentinian tenders are absolutely out of this world.

I am always amazed by the selection they have in stock, the high quality products speak for themselves. Amongst my haul, I ended up getting some prime USDA grade steak and wagyu burger patties. I'm looking forward to char grilling them on a charcoal barbecue. Will post pics once I make the burgers, etc. It's definitely worth the time to travel there. Can't be thankful enough to all who served me at the establishment great bunch of people. They now also include a home delivery service on thier website which I will need to try out.

I have also since tried out there A5 Japanese Wagu second to none experience something everyone should experience once in thier life. A buttery melt in the mouth experience.

I recently visited Malik Butchers in Wolverhampton , and I was genuinely impressed from start to finish. The customer service was absolutely outstanding — the staff were welcoming, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. They took the time to talk me through their selection, offered helpful advice on cooking and seasoning, and made the whole experience feel personal and enjoyable. It’s rare to find that level of care and professionalism these days, and it really stood out.

I picked up a few of their marinated meats, and the quality was second to none. The chicken cushion in garlic butter was phenomenal — beautifully tender, perfectly seasoned, and bursting with rich, buttery flavour. It cooked wonderfully and made the most delicious, juicy centrepiece for a roast dinner. I also tried the Argentinian marinated meat, which was packed with just the right amount of spice and depth — bold, aromatic, and perfectly balanced without being overpowering. Both were full of flavour and clearly prepared with expertise and high-quality ingredients.

The freshness of the meat and the care put into each marinade really make Malik Butchers stand out. Every bite tasted authentic and full of flavour, making it the perfect choice for anyone who loves a hearty, flavourful meal.
