The menu is extremely reasonably priced, with a great choice of pub grub (Traditional English and Polish).
Staff were very helpful, happy and courteous.
We had Staropramen - it tasted the most like the beer 🍻 in Prague than anywhere I've had in the UK. Gorgeous, if not a bit pricey at £5.95 for a pint and a half.
That said, if you want run-of-the-mill beer, they offer a 4 pints for a tenner card.
If you're in Wolves and want a cheap meal and couple of pints, it's worth catching the 6 from the bus station and asking the driver to drop you off at the stop after Newhampton Art Centre (Fawdry Street). You'll see the little sandwich board across the road - just head down the road for about 150 yards and it's on the right corner at the junction with the next road.
Loads of room (bar, lounge and snug) and large TVs showing sports in the bar and lounge-cum-dining-room.

Read moreNear to the city centre, but tucked away up a side street on a housing estate, this multi roomed, locals pub, is a real hidden gem.
Frequented by home fans, on match days when Wolves are playing at the nearby Molineux Stadium.
Despite this, it remains very friendly and welcoming to all, with a good selection of ales, mostly from the Marston's range, plus the occasional guest ale.
There is a kitchen, which prepares amazing and great value for money food, and is highly recommended. (Meals are also available to takeaway on request)
The pub also offer a good variety of entertainment, some of which is available by ticket only, but this is well advertised online.
Another surprise this pub offers, is a bowling green out back, for a local crown...
Read moreThis is a fantastic pub with the MOST amazing food! We come here from time to time for a treat and the portions are enormous and hugely generous!! The food is delicious and beautifully represents yummy Polish kitchen. The kitchen staff are enormously accommodating and pleasant although you might struggle a bit if you don't speak Polish as they don't speak much English.
Jo, who runs the bar is a wonderful Landlady and manages the pub expertly. There is always a good atmosphere here, the décor is warm and pleasant.
Only downsides are that it can be a tad crowded (it's that popular!), you might wait a bit for the food if there are lots of people and sometimes, the tables a spot sticky.
Still a FANTASTIC place to go! Highly...
