The Gurkha Chulo only opened recently, but has already become a favourite of mine, and I will certainly be frequenting this fine establishment more often going forwards! Service from staff is excellent, they are very friendly and inviting. I've only tried the one main dish so far (Naga Murgh), but it greeted my taste buds exactly as I expected (that beautiful naga aroma), the spice at the standard "3-chilli" offering really hit the spot without taking anything from the enjoyment... Just not a single bad word to say about any of the few meals I've had here! To The Gurkha Chulo - Keep it up, you've nailed it all for me thus far! Highly recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment as the restaurant is rather small and may not be able to accommodate you if visiting on a whim. Edit 25/09/2024 - Just wanted to add that last time I made a table reservation via their website, I intended to call once they were open to confirm the booking, however the restaurant actually called me a few hours before opening in order to confirm it! Amazing customer service! 😃 I have ordered for delivery a few times as well and delivery time has always been well within the allocated timeslot, the food has been piping hot and the same top quality as dining in. Also I have tried multiple offerings from the menu now and they have all been excellent. The Naga Murgh is still king for me, but I highly recommend the Himalayan Chicken and Mustang Magic Chicken/Lamb. All starters, sides and sundries have always been very good too.

First time to The Gurkha. Recommended by our neighbour. What a lovely surprise! Even though we were the only diners for a while (it was early on a Monday evening) it felt comfortable. Decor simple, very clean and background music unobtrusive. Staff knowledgeable and friendly. Food was very good indeed - presented with a certain elegance that added to the overall experience. The king prawn shashlick was one of the best I have tasted. Definitely worth visiting this restaurant.

Tried Gurkha Chulo in Lower Wick after seeing great reviews online and it did not disappoint. The food was full of flavour, especially the momos and curries which were rich and well-spiced. Portions were generous and prices were reasonable. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A hidden gem in Worcester .. highly recommend!

What a hidden gem. Friendly and professional. Their chef is outstanding. The food had spicy depth, good chilli heat and was all freshly made and served hot. For this, our first visit we chose from the Gurkha signature dishes. Ghurka Chicken for him and Farsi Gosht for me with perfectly cooked pilau rice and plain naan. My lamb was tender, good sized chunks, with no gristle. He said his was delicious and very spicy (tbf he’s a bit of a wimp with spicy food 😂), his was the same spicy hot as mine and mine was perfect. I couldn’t try his because I have a nut allergy. The staff accommodated my allergy brilliantly, checking ingredients with me and warning me the after dinner chocs may contain nuts. A fabulous first visit and definitely not our last. Can’t believe our luck in having Gurkha Chulo so...

Lovely experience at the beautiful, warm restaurant, first time in the area, rang up to ask if their food was Halal!! Alhamdulillah they said everything was Halal. My little one also really enjoyed the food, the service was one of the best services ever, better than any big lavish restaurant, very polite, very attentive staff, the cheff even came out checked up on us to see how we were finding everything and the food, the spice levels are clearly labelled and staff are also very helpful. Brilliant over all, defo worth a nice, calm meal, with good vibes, it's small but beautiful, and very very clean, you can just get the sense of cleanliness. Defo my type of restaurant for someone who's very picky with restaurants. Will defo visit again before we...
