Dave and Heidi put themselves out all the time but throughout the first lockdown they really excelled themselves by creating their food specials as takeout /delivered food,following the release from lockdown they again excelled themselves and operated possibly the best pub and followed strict rules regarding covid.now we are again in a lockdown situation they will be creating take away meals.i know that many customers at the pub will agree with me that we have one very special landlord and landlady.please support them through this next phase of covid lockdown and we will all look forward to a great pint when this is all over WELL DONE...

My mum relocated to the neighbourhood from Bedfordshire after the death my dad last year. Any fears of how she will settle were quickly quashed with this pub. Sounds daft but with their carvery, theme nights and extra curriculars , Dave and Heidi make it their mission to be the heartbeat of the community.

Above all they did an amazing job hosting a surprise 70th for her putting on the food and keeping it ssh! We had a wonderful time and mum was buzzing for days after.

Great local pub, pool table and darts board and skittle alley. The meals are high quality, no microwave rubbish here....Food served Friday and Saturday lunchtimes and nights and Sunday lunch. Snacks in the daytime. Very friendly pub with good banter. TVs showing football and other sports.

Food days and times have changed. There are now loads of things going on at weekends. eg. Quiz nights, clairvoyant nights, bingo etc. All great fun and...
