Was really looking forward to this place reopening after several years closed. Went in a couple of weeks ago when the proprietor wasn’t there (significant) and had a really enjoyable time (full of people and a friendly atmosphere including the bar staff). Went back tonight and arrived to an empty pub with Mike the publican behind the bar. He seemed friendly enough but bearing in mind the bar was advertised to stay open till midnight, at 10.50 he turned the bar lights out and said he was tired so that was it, can we go.
