2 hours of action packed entertainment that a group of 8 kids for a birthday LOVED!! From start to finish, this birthday party was amazing. The team took us through to their neon area and they started by having great fun with neon facepaint and tattoos, then we were shown to benches where they made awesome slime. All the while the team talked them through it, they had shirts to wear over their clothes, and added various things to the slime. Then they blew bubbles with it! All the while fun music was playing which the kids were encouraged to sing along to, which they did! Our food was served, own party bags brought and cupcakes. While the food was eaten, the team handed a microphone around for some fun karaoke too! They LOVED it. After food, it was more organised fun and games then dressing up and plenty of pictures! Would absolutely recommend to anyone planning a birthday party or just want to go for some fun! The team were amazing and really kept the kids going for the...
Read moreReally lovely idea. Perfect for a creative morning or afternoon out. And there certainly wasn't a lack of inspiration to be had from the decor and many examples around the shop.
I'm marking down one star however because the high chairs were all really quite dirty. I'm not talking about the odd splash of ceramic glaze, but dust and dirt. The sort of thing that has clearly built up over time from babies doing what babies do (dribbling, food? etc). We had to really wipe it down before we were able to confidently put our baby in one.
I realise this could be argued as a minor point, and to a degree I would agree. But do remember that the backbone of this shop's clientele are families, usually with babies, wanting to preserve a moment. So high chair traffic will be considerable. A watchful eye on cleanliness therefore wouldn't go amiss.
That said, I would still recommend Art-Ful Pottery Cafe. It's a breath of fresh air to see something so...
Read moreA nice way to spend an hour with the kids on a rainy day. However, they failed to mention at the point of booking that it takes 2 weeks (!!!) for your creations to be ready, so it’s not ideal if you’re visiting on holiday. They do offer postage but that’s an extra fee. Luckily we have family in Worthing that can collect but it would be nice if they put a disclaimer in the website or mentioned over the phone. We did this at Center Parcs and it took 48 hours.
it’s quite expensive too. £17 for a unicorn and that was one of the smaller options available. Food & drink is quite expensive too; £2.50 for a tea bag and hot water!
Service wasn’t very good. Nobody bothered asking if we wanted any food or drink so we had to call someone over.
Despite this we had a good time and it was busy so I’d advise booking. The kids really enjoyed it which is...
