Excited to see a wood fire oven in town, I’ve walked past this place so many times on previous visits to Worthing and wanted to check it out but never having had the time to stop. Finally, on Easter Sunday everything aligned and I’m so pleased to have finally sampled Pizza Face! Shortly after ordering my pizza, a gorgeous little basket of grissini came out with some sun dried tomato pesto. The little sticks of pizza dough were incredible - lovely and oily and flavoured with garlic, and the pesto was that good I finished the whole ramekin even after we’d devoured the sticks! Soon after, my pizza arrived. I kept it simple with a Margherita, which was a good choice. They are a very generous size, I could just about finish it all with a little help from my one year old daughter! The wood fired oven did its job perfectly, and the base and toppings were amazing - the sauce in particular was perfect! I took my older girls there the next day for an early dinner and noticed there’s a children’s deal - on Monday and Tuesday’s, children eat free with a paying adult. Ordinarily it would be £6 for a smaller sized pizza, side salad and juice (orange, apple or pineapple) with extra toppings optional - fantastic value for money in itself even without the free deal on Monday’s and Tuesday’s. Despite being a smaller sized pizza and my girls having healthy appetites, there was still enough for them to take home and snack on later! The service was fab, very attentive and nothing too much trouble. The waitress showed great patience with my daughters as they deliberated over their toppings and choice of juice (it took a while but we got there!) I also enjoyed a glass of the sixty clicks Shiraz with my pizza and that went down beautifully. I know in summer it will be a lovely place to sit outside in the sun, and enjoy the best pizza in Worthing while watching the world go by. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you for giving the town an authentic pizza place to be proud of. It’s great value for money and in my opinion better than the generic pizza restaurants in town.

Four of us went to pizzaface for dinner and couldn't fault it. Our friends were really impressed at the number of vegan options on the menu as they're so used to just having a couple of choices not a whole list. Mark was very engaging and friendly which made all the difference as nothing was any bother - even our friends dubious swap of red onion to pineapple! Finished up our meal with Boho Gelato to take away which we ate on a stroll along the prom. Again there was a split of 6 ice creams with milk and 6 vegan friendly options.

I can't speak highly enough about Pizza Face Worthing. The pizzas are truly outstanding. Amazing toppings and choices but also a selection of standard, vegan or gluten free bases. The pizzas are cooked to perfection, large enough to fill the biggest of appetites and fantastic value for money. The service and kindness of the staff is exemplary and an amazing selection of craft beers. Who could possibly ask for more. Thank you Pizza Face and we can't wait to visit you again soon.

Oh dear! Previously I gave pizza face 5 star review, we've been using them for years, our pizza delivery boxes used to have a label on them saying valued repeat customer, eaten in the restaurant several times, booked for dinner just me and my wife Saturday night, got shown to tiny table next to the toilet, tried to move my chair to the side to be out of the toilet queue and was told to move it back as the next table were about to arrive and I might be in the way, anyway, food turned up very good as always, man that took our order really good, no problems, then somebody turned up opposite us with a dog that sat looking at me and was very annoying, I didn't realise that it was dog friendly and I don't like dogs, couldn't finish my meal , wish I'd stayed at home, then when it came to the bill the usual ' how was it for you guys' and when I tried to explain, worst table in the whole half empty restaurant, made to sit facing a half painted wall, dog, and to top it all the supposed next table that were about to arrive, hadn't turned up an hour later, I was talked down to and made to feel that I didn't matter, I said dog friendly wasn't on the website and she sarcastically said ' there's a sign in the window ' obviously no tip and will never return, don't mind the odd mistake but I'm too old to be spoken to in the...

Watched 2 kitchen staff empty a bin then continue making the pizzas without washing hands. 1 had gloves on the entire time and didn't change them. Disgusting. (1 didn't go out back at all after he held the bin down with his blue gloves then immediately continued making pizza in view of us).

Service also shocking was stood nearly 10 minutes with no greeting at all, staff just avoided eye contact, 2 of them even on the till immediately in front of me ignored my hello and continued looking down and walked away) with me and then the guy who joined the queue behind too. Only when a delivery rider came in did they react (and serve them first).

My food was clearly ready before I arrived, they collected it from the back after eventually reluctantly making eye contact (no hello). Food was Luke warm, messy and had very little topping. Taste wasn't for me and frankly after seeing the hygiene standards was better for the bin.

For such an expensive and nice looking place very very...
