I was withholding from writing a review, as some of my friends already have, but having read your response and lack of proper acknowledgement I will share the experience from my side too. Our 'party' of four was at your place on Sunday, 5th of March. We were the only table there ordering food (another table there has left shortly after we arrived). Both burgers were raw in the middle, there is no argument to that. Pink in the middle looks different and we wouldn't have questioned that. We've all worked at restaurants, some in fine dining and know what raw looks like. The only difference between the two burgers was that the first one to arrive was raw in the middle. The second one (which has been prepared after the first one was sent back) was, besides being raw, burned on both sides. Your explanation that the chef didn't know we were all part of one 'party' is just ridiculous. Having been the only 4 people there with 2 FOH staff chef must have known (the waiter spent quite some time there). Besides, we had chips which we ordered to come with mains arrive to the table about 15 mins before the second burned burger did. And yes, that was all ordered on one ticket.
Your lack of acknowledgement and customer blaming is really shameful. I'd much rather see you hold your hand up and say sorry, we screwed up. Instead, you prefer to come up with some silly excuses and blame your mistake on us for ordering...
Read moreWent in the other days with a group of friends to get drinks. Saw that they had a 2 for £15 cocktail menu and got 2 Espresso Martinis.
I watched the bartender, a young female with red hair and bangs, make it and saw that she had put a lot of sugar syrup in the drink but didn't think much of it as she also put in a lot of espressos as well.
Tried it at the table and it was so sweet my teeth hurt and didnt taste of espressos at all. It was undrinkable.
When I politely raised my concerns at the bar, I was told that was how the drinks were supposed to taste and that if I wanted them remade I would need to pay again and that she would not issue a refund even though I ended up leaving the drink with her.
When I asked to speak to a manager, the female stated that she was with a smile on face and then twirled.
This response was unprofessional and disappointing. Would never go back again.
*Update: We went to the cow shed on the same day after this and ordered espressos Martinis there, which tasted nothing like the ones from number 24, they were balanced and not overly sweet.
Evidenitally, issue is definitely the bartender and the not recipe.

Read moreBooked a table for food, took 15 minutes to get seated they gave us our menu and we ordered a gin and bottled cider and our food after another 20 minutes they came over and told us the kitchen was closed, we waited a further 10 minutes ( half an hour in total) and our drinks are still yet to arrive, we decided we will grab an ice cream as we were starving, there was no cue apart from one girl in front who got served and when we got to the kiosk we were told they were no longer serving ice cream. So we asked if our drinks had been made which they had not and decided to leave. It was not busy and there were enough staff to cope. In that 40 minutes we were there, not one drink was given to anyone even though people were waiting. Also getting a trainee staff member to tell customers that the kitchen was closed (after taking orders) on her on own was not fair on her or the customers due to aggravation.
