Staff seem very inexperienced, initially asked for my order, ordered and then ignored for 5mins to be asked again what my order was, then questioned a 3rd time. Chips dry, over cooked in the outside and under cooked inside, jumbo battered sausage also overcooked on the outside and just cooked inside. No real queuing system or measures in place to stay covid secure. Honestly I was surprised that it was open as whenever I pass it's usually closed. Lovely staff, always polite and friendly, service is quick even though everything is cooked to order so ensures freshness, the quality of the food is amazing, never had a more delicious saveloy or fish cake, they are full of flavour and you can taste the freshness. The chips were down .dry and tasteless seemed like they had been warmed up .Battered sausage was tough and the batter not crispy .looked good when it came out of the fryer but may have been in to,long I waited about 25 minutes for my order .Also had fish cake for my partner who said it was ok but the chips were also dry .unfortunately we will not return .staff were friendly .and premises seemed clean .a real pity...
