Lets Talk Sunday Dinner. I often find that i'm let down by Sunday dinner when eating out, but not at The Bridge Inn. We walked down without a booking, the place was heaving (great to see), and of course they managed to squeeze us in. The first thing i'd like to point out, unlike many places that offer a limited selection of meats at the Bridge Inn you get a great selection, makes it hard to choose thought. I spotted a cheeky Lamb kebab for starter, when it arrived it was accompanied with a cus cus which i normally wouldn't bother with, this however was outstanding, so many lovely flavours, its changed my view of cus cus, and the kebab was fantastic. For main I opted for Slow Cooked Belly Pork which was OMG, it was fall apart and very tasty, and to get crispy roast potatoes in a pub, whatever next (how often are you disapointed with roast pots when eating out) well these were bob on. Seasonal veg and cauli cheese accompany the plated meal. Add to this great service, great drinks and what more could you ask for. Highly recommend you try Sunday Dinner, not that any other day of the week isn't just as good lol. Make sure you book or you could fine yourself with food envy. Enjoy. Sorry about the rubbish photos, better...

We are local ish to the bridge, only across the river but a bit of a journey to get too.

It was worth it. Finally a place that understands portion sizes.

I had the beef bourguignon pie, served with veg and mash. Absolutely gorgeous.

Followed with an apple crumble with a twist.....finally a place that understands a pudding shouldn't cost more than a main. This was a bargain at £6. At that price it's perfect and worth every penny.

The place itself is vibrant in the bar with an open fire, duel sided with plenty of locals in there having a good time.

Excellent options for drinking too. The bar staff are very helpful and waitress service was on point.

The only complaint was that the restaurant area was cold due to a problem with the boiler and the log burner was waiting to be swept.

Don't let this put you off, we will go there again, at £30 a head for 2 courses and 3 drinks over 4 people (1 driving on soft drinks). I'd say this is one to visit. It's slightly out the way but set perfectly on the river avon

Sorry no pics of food as I tucked into it straight away and cleared the plate before I thought about...

I recently hosted a celebratory meal for my son's christening at our local pub, and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that our party of 12 felt welcomed and accommodated.

The service was impeccable, with each member of the team attentive, friendly, and eager to make our celebration memorable. Despite the size of our group, the staff managed to deliver our meals promptly and with a smile.

And the food! Every dish was prepared to perfection. Succulent roast beef and mouthwatering desserts!

I especially appreciated the pub's ability to cater to larger groups without compromising on quality or attention to detail. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for marking such a special occasion with friends and family.

If you're considering a celebratory or occasion meal for a group, I wholeheartedly recommend The Bridge Inn. Their exemplary service, delicious food, and welcoming ambiance make them the perfect choice for any gathering. Thank you to the entire team for making our son's christening...

Such an amazing rural pub right on the river. Top staff and food. A hidden gem x I picked my son up here after his Kayak trip. Even my little terrier got a go on his Kayak 😍
