May 19th 2019 went to this store to treat the family. Spent $36.81 on ice cream. No problem there. But the staff was not on their game. Asked for a banana split and was told there was no banana's.. Ok no problem. Can we get it with out the banana and no pineapple sauce? Answer, yes what would u like to replace that with? Our answer, a little extra strawberry and chocolate sauce.. Response - we will have to charge u for the EXTRA topping. "u mmmmmm" huh? Why, there is no banana. Response - we have to charge for at least 1 extra.... Please explain how this is an extra topping? Last I checked remove 2 toppings should be able to get 2 back...? And I'm positive that the banana cost more then the chocolate sauce. Second issue- Get home and found that the blizzard that we special ordered a blizzard of the month with Reeses added and paid happily for the extra and of course no reeses. So. 49 cents times 2. 100% not the amount 1000% the service. Called spoke with a manager who made me feel like my issue was not her issue, just wanted to get me off the phone. As I was giving her the details she tried to say that it's the policy to charge for at east one extra topping, again how is it an extra topping? After I pointed that out, she realized I was correct and was over charged, rather then focusing on the apology for that mishap she jumped right to "what do u want me to do?" Well I'm not done with my issues so I want u to listen to me and have some compassion. She argued with me when I brought up the way she was behaving. I'm extremely dissapointed in the professionalism and the concern for customer satisfaction. Only when I made it clear that I would go above her did she change her tone. Money was not the issue,...
Read moreHaven't been to a DQ in several years. Way too expensive
I got flamethrower combo. Onion rings and a drink
It was over$15!!!!!!!!!
There were only 6 onion rings. 6! 4 of them were the size of a half dollar coin, so not six large rings ......
And the bacon on the sandwich was hard and looked like it had been sitting around for a while, so you can't say well, It was expensive but it was a really good tasting meal. It was just so so
Haven't been for a few years and I don't think I'll be going back to a dairy Queen anytime soon.
If I'm going to spend over $15 for a burger with a paltry side of fries, I'll just pay a few bucks more and go to Duffy's across the street and get a decent meal
UPDATE: not too long after the store manager or owner reached out to me. As you can see to their reply to my review. They sent me some link to contact them directly. So I went to the link. The link is some super generic dairy Queen corporate website that says if you have any concerns about the local DQ contact the franchise owner directly. So I did that link and it had me put the ZIP code in and locate the store. When I clicked on the store it sent me back to the first page I was on.
Do you really think I want to spend the rest of my life trying to navigate your stupid corporate website after being ripped off for a $15 sandwich? Yeah how about I just never go to dairy Queen again. I'm not trying to get anything from you. I'm just trying to warn everybody else not to take their business there because over$15 for a burger, sm rings and sm drink is way too much. I ordered a flame thrower burger combo with onion rings my receipt days 15.36. that is insane for lunch. So I've learned my lesson. I...
Read moreStarted off asking them if they had dogs on a stick they said no, ask if they had cherry milkshakes they said no so we ordered chili cheese dogs and we went up and paid for them after a few minutes, just about time to receive our food and they told us O they were sorry they didn't have any chilly. They ask us if we would like our dogs without the chili? And then they ask us if we still wanted the cheese? We even had to ask for a refund for the difference in the price for a the the chili dog and the not chili dog buried. Very disappointing performance from this Dairy Queen. A few days later we came back to the same Dairy Queen hoping for a different experience. They still didn't have any chili, even though they tried to sell us a chili dog. I decided this time I'd give a soft serve cone, And my son decided to try again for the hot dog. As we left the drive thru we were eating in the car, and I ate my soft serve cone in a cup with a spoon. My son's hot dog then fell apart immediately it was nothing more then pieces of a bun--they didn't even give him a decent hot dog bun (see the photo below showing where it fell). Not only did they give him a bad hot dog bun, they didn't even give him any mustard, onions, or napkins. This has got to be the worst Dairy QueensI...
