Edited to add: While I truly appreciate the quick response and explanation of the owner, a week later and no refund of any kind was ever actually given, even though they mentioned they would in their response. I'm not looking for anything for free. We enjoyed the food. But I did feel very mislead with the pricing and all this "saying one thing and doing another" business. Being overcharged because of a mistake or miscommunication is a mistake that can happen. No one is perfect! But to just say, "Sorry, it's our system" and to not correct it, or even try to make it right, doesn't sit well with me.

Let me start by saying that I really don't like leaving negative reviews, ever.

We stopped by this afternoon and the staff was friendly when ordering and the food was good.

My issue however was that even though the menu behind the counter said a burger WITH fries was $9.49, I also confirmed this with the cashier a couple of times while ordering, I discovered after I sat down that we were charged $9.49 plus an additional $2.29 for fries with every burger!! I went back to the counter to ask about it and was told, "It's the new system, it just does that automatically."

I wouldn't have got the fries with each burger if it was an additional charge!!

The manager said they wouldn't refund all the additional costs of fries added because, again, "It's a new system and it does it automatically. They have no control over it."

Maybe figure out your system so that it's not overcharging people? Or update your menu prices? OR STOP TELLING PEOPLE THAT THE PRICE LISTED INCLUDES FRIES??

At this point, it's just bad business and super dishonest and deceitful. Our food, plus tax AND tip came out to almost $70!!

Where's all these extra charges going at the end of the night? Are they being handed out as extra tips or something? Seems a little suspicious and unfortunately we won't be back...

Purchased the Light House Special, after all, how can you resist when they describe it as:

"Our most popular burger! Two patties on a toasted sesame bun, with cheese, lettuce, pickles, and house-made burger sauce. Choice of fries or side salad."

The first disappointment with the burger itself, as you can see from the picture, it does not come with two patties. Second disappointment is they don't even provide enough sauce for half of the fries they give you with the burger. Overall, very sad to see this when you pay $10 for burger and fries.

Though dine-in is supposedly an option now, you are greeted by a sign that states everyone has to wear a mask while inside the establishment. Though if you look inside at the employees, those that choose to wear them are wearing them as chin diapers. No employees wearing gloves as they prep food in the front, they they handle everyone's cards and cash. If you chose the drive-thru you can expect to have someone bring you your food in an open paperbag, ready to fall out of the bag as they hand it to you, all while not wearing a mask, or gloves.

This entire experience leads me to believe that the owners and management either don't mind misleading and/or ripping off customers, nor do they have respect for your health, but want to ensure you play by their rules even if they don't while you're there. Because of this experience, I cannot in good faith recommend anyone go there, nor will I return until I see that owners and management have made...

Have had some good food here in recent visits, however tonight was a bit different. The place was next to empty, maybe 1 customer inside,so when we ordered at the drive up we figured we'd be having a hot meal soon, after we ordered we pulled up and paid ,pulled ahead so the next car could get their order, after 10 minutes I kept looking back wondering why it hasn't shown up or if someone's on their way, unfortunately the counter clerk was chit-chatting with a couple of women customers at the front counter and by the time they were through chatting 20 minutes had gone by and finally she brought our food out, for the price we pay ,hot food would be appreciated, not lukewarm burgers and cool fries.. Upon going in and asking to have a hot replacement or refund, and being told that we were wrong, and they could not do either, since their was no manager, we've decided to spend our money elsewhere...

I seldom feel the need to rave about a burger joint, but today we ordered three burgers from Lighthouse and all three of us were extremely pleased with our choices. We were passing through Aberdeen at lunch and nearly didn't go to Lighthouse because there menu shows no vegetarian burgers. Fact: they offer Beyond Burger patties AND Gardenburger. For the Beyond burger they thoughtfully provided Vegan Sauce. The presentation was really pretty for a drive-through (each burger boxed, unwrapped, with fries) and the ingredients were fresh, delicious and juicy. "This burger just LOOKS very beautiful." "OMG, this is delicious" "I didn't expect it to be this good". Tip: They ask you if you want beer battered fries, so figure that out in advance if you're ordering for others.
