The service was so poor, we didn't feel comfortable and had to leave. My wife and I, with our 3 year old son, arrived at 9:12 PM after Googling this business and checking hours. They said they closed at 10 PM and on their door, it states that they close at 10 PM, so we went inside. We were not greeted, or welcomed in anyway. We found our own seats, and the lady gave us a menu and said, "Would you like an order go to" and I said, "Um, no, I think we want to dine in" and she replied "We're only taking orders to go, we are closing". We felt hurried, since there was a 50 min. wait till they closed, so we agreed to take out. The lady flopped some menu's on a bar, far away from where I was trying to head, in another direction. We felt forced to eat at the bar table with our 3 year old, which has awful high stools. It seemed inappropriate to me. I turned to look at my wife, and I asked her what she wanted, and she implied that she felt nervous. I asked her why, and then I said, "there is no need to feel rushed, we have almost an hour to figure out what you want to eat" and the lady...who was not near us, replied to our private conversation, "No, you have 15...maybe 20 minuets." and I replied, "I thought you closed at 10, and she said "No, we close around 9:30...you know...because we don't want to be here all night cleaning." (The place was spotless when we came in.) Clearly, we're already having an issue with the lady, who honestly does not want to serve us at all. After this, my wife said she felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave. The service was terrible, and I'm going to let everyone know. What an awful lady. If you don't want our business, then why have your door open? This lady deliberately made things uncomfortable for me, especially my wife, and our little boy. Why would you be so rude to two strangers, who were having an awesome night?
What an awful establishment. To management, the lady has shoulder cut hair, black. She is middle-aged and it happened on the 6th of July, 2017. You keep her, and you're going to go under, she's chasing people away, unless it's management who is putting her under so much pressure, in which case, I hope ya'll do go under.
I chased all the way over from a different city, to come eat at your place, only to have it ruin my date night with my wife. Shame on you, all of you, for misrepresenting your hours and disrespecting my family. You're hours are clearly posted on not only your page on Google Ads, but on your own building, and for treating such nice people, including a 3 year old the way that you did. You could have been nicer about things too, instead, you were rude. You...
Read moreWeirdest Chinese/American food places I've ever been. Why are chicken items separate from everything else? I was visting in town. Had some drinks across the street and stopped in here to take dinner home. I don't understand why I can't pay $2 more for noodles when everything is deconstructed anyways. Order Kung Pau chicken she told me only rice or fried rice, no noodle because the chicken is deep fried. Opened bag at home it was THREE boxes, rice in one, sauce in another, and plain fried chicken. Too much sauce and Putting red pepper flakes in sweet and sour sauce is NOT King Pau. Worst fried rice I've ever seen, Watch any video on fried rice, it's not hard. No egg. No vegetable. It's not fried rice. Any other chinese/American place I go puts rice, chicken, sauce, all in one Styrofoam container. 3 boxes too many boxes. Whole box of sauce waist of sauce. Sauce not good. Fried rice just brown rice, not good. Plain fried chicken, not good. 3 boxes of not good food. Not good! Was it eatable? Yes, 2 stars, I ate it by dipping chicken in sauce like McDonald's chicken nuggets and drizzled sauce over boring rice for flavor. Was it good? No, but i was hungry and buzzed so I eat. Would I go back again? Maybe, I come back next year, we'll see. But judging by these comments, if they don't listen to their customers and make changes they may not be still open. To the owners: Go to Olympia and Tacoma, try some other chinese/America restautants. Take notes. Come back and make awesome food...
Read moreThis was my very first time visiting this restaurant. The service was a little slow, but the girl who took my order was incredibly nice. Unfortunately, my husband and I were extremely disappointed with the food. The fried rice isn't what you'd normally expect from a Chinese restaurant. It was just rice with soy sauce. We did receive two boxes with peas, carrots, celery, onions, water chestnuts, ect. Not sure if we were meant to add that to the "fried rice", or if it was a dish on it's own. The onions weren't cooked all the way through and it was really bland like the fried rice. The pork spare ribs were very dry and tough. They didn't taste great at all. They looked unappetizing in a pool of sauce in the takeout box. I think they were old and should have bee thrown out instead of served to customers. I will say that the sweet and sour pork, the egg rolls, and the prawns were okay. Those three things are a very small portion of the meals we paid for though and I wouldn't say it was worth the $20+ I spent for a two person meal. I really wish I could have left a better review. I'm sorry! The food was just too disappointing for the price that I paid. This food wasn't what I was expecting from Chinese restaurant especially at $10+ per meal. I only visited because I saw all the great reviews and now I really regret doing so. I don't plan on going back anytime soon after this and I really don't recommend anyone who wants genuine chinese food go...
