AM Donuts & Croissants — Restaurant in Abilene

The cinnamon rolls are sub par from what they were when I used to come here several years ago, when my fiancee was in college. The donuts, too. The lemon jelly was good, but the rest of that donut and the other donuts for the whole thing tasted off. Don't know what changed, but the whole menu tastes a little off in comparison to other places,though thankfully not as bad as the place on 7th by Winter's Freeway that tastes like they use sweetener instead of sugar, ugh. Shame, really, I used to love coming here.

Great atmosphere, for anyone who is also a comic fan like myself. Tons of cool figures, comics, art, toys, and promotional material for different films. Though, the sight of one of them was marred by a political sticker, which, no matter who it's for,ruins a dining experience for me, because there's no point in putting it up in a restaurant.

Also in their favor is that they carry Borden's chocolate milk. Best chocolate milk out there, so that's good.

There are a handful of little unexpected suburbs of heaven that extend their boundaries and manage to reach into our reality every now and then a THIS is DEFINITELY one of them. I love this place! The people are awesome. they are 100% attentive to the person standing in front of them like nothing else matter, the environment itself is like an embrace from an old familiar friend who loves you, and OMG, I haven’t even gotten to the donuts yet, which you just gotta experience for yourself. Who can go wrong with a box of the greatest donuts in the universe, made by some of the greatest people in the universe?!?!?!?!?

I take my family every week. It's bn just about every WK for the last 6 yrs. When we used to use the drive thru Even though I'd repeat my order more than twice they usually got it wrong which then has them charging me more so I've learned to ONLY GO INSIDE to get our food to make sure it's correct. On weekends we go around 9:30/10am and a lot of the time they're already out of all the kinds of donuts my 3 kids n I want so we have to go somewhere else so I recommend if u go to go early!
