I visited this establishment earlier this evening and I ran out of gas in the drive thru. In my defense, I was in my brother's truck and his gas gauge is broken, so it doesn't tell me exactly how much gas it actually has. It was reading a quarter of a tank. Apparently, it was much lower than that. Anyway, I found out whilst I was waiting in line at the speaker after I had already taken my order. If you've ever visited this particular location then you know there is like cement guard rails that directs the cars through the drive thru. So i couldn't just get pushed off to the side so easily. It being a Friday night, with all these cars behind me, with drunk people getting gradually more and more aggravated with every second. I guess the employee working the headset could hear my distressed phone call to my sister. He asked if he wanted me to have him come out and help and before i could answer, another angry customer behind me came up and started having a discussion with me. Before i knew it two young men employed by this restaurant, who's names i wish i would have gotten, but i didn't. They came to my rescue. They ever made sure that i still recieved my order after pushing my car out of the way. I couldn't stop laughing in disbelief. It was such a ridiculous situation, and I'm not sure what i would have done without the genuine kindness and exceptional customer service provided by these employees. 10/10...
Read moreLast evening my wife and I stopped after work, and pick up dinner, was around 9pm. The store was busy I get that, but the order was wrong, and incomplete. I returned inside to have it corrected.... And they did but, they were cleaning the grill, the evidence was the smoke that filled the restaurant. The portion of the order that was missing was added to the bag and we went home. We live 15 miles out of town, so when we got home we sat down to eat. As we opened the bag, the modifications to the order were not included, although they charged us for it. Hey things happen wasn't going back into town. My wife said the food tasted off, so she didn't finish hers. Mine was fine, I thought. At 3am she became violently ill. I had her in the hospital for quite some time. She was released with a food poisoning diagnosis. I believe that missing portion of our order was prepared on a grill that was NOT, finished being cleaned. In turn we have had a miserable 18 hours with all of the glory of food poisoning. I don't believe the food was bad, because I am not ill. But I believe that she got sick, because the back of the house (kitchen staff) we're irresponsible and angry because I came back to get the order corrected. I have been a patron of Taco Bell for the better part of 40 years. I have no complaints on the company as a whole. Just this...
Read moreI love Taco Bell, as a previous vegetarian turned vegan they have been my struggle meal through thick and thin. You could get a small drink, potato fresco (before it got canceled) tacos, cinnamon crisps, and bean burrito for $5. I never forgot about what Taco Bell had done for me through career changes, the pandemic. And if you’re a plant based fam, Taco Bell is one of the few places you can get food on the road especially in Texas.
I was the one who talked my family into getting Taco Bell here a few days ago, because the one in our hometown is literally the worst Taco Bell on the planet (1 ⭐️ on Google literally) and we never go there.
I got my usual order at the drive thru. My husband wanted a bean chalupa and my son had a side of rice and beans. They got sick immediately after, and the only thing we could trace it back to was they both had the black beans, and I didn’t.
I felt horrible they got sick and after this experience, as we were on a family trip. My husband has sworn of Taco Bell altogether saying the beans were not good and messed with his stomach. I also feel naive because Taco Bell giving ppl the runs is not an unheard of stereotype. It’s not like advertise themselves as healthy, but I’ve just never personally experienced...
