Mr Burger — Restaurant in Abilene

This was my first time visiting Mr Burger and it was a really good experience! I used the drive thru and ordered a corn dog, fried okra and a diet cherry vanilla dr pepper. It was happy hour, so my drink was 1/2 off ( Happy Hour is 3-4) As I was pulling up to the first window, a young fella poked his head out and smiled and waved me over. He was very friendly and just so precious! Whatever Mr Burger is paying him is not enough! I paid for my food and was given my drink and instructed to go around to the next window to pick up my order. As I was waiting, I took a sip of my drink and I kid you not, the flavor sent me back in time! Not sure what cherry juice they're using but it tasted like it used to when I was a kid! Not like the fake stuff you get at other places. That was the best diet cherry vanilla dp I've had in a long time! I received my order and headed on my way. The corndog was just a corndog, but it was hot and fresh. I didn't think to ask for mustard but it was still delicious. The fried okra was so hot and fresh and tasty! I might ask next if they can make them a little crisper but they were still excellent! I hope to go back soon and try a burger. And I'm already thinking...

Usely we don't eat here but we went ahead stopped by people taking orders are in a rush and never give you enough time to look menu over they keep asking and rushing you I dont order anything my wife orders her meal people at the window are rude and not friendly, when we recived my wife's order at the pickup window a older lady opened the pickup window and we really recived great service the lady asked if we need extra napkins salt/ pepper,ketchup or if there was anything else we may need my jaw dropped I was in awe I thanked the lady and told her she was the only one ever to so such a great job the whole time we been there.. if people or owners would take notice of how these young men and woman are not taking care of customers and not careing if they do the right thing they are losing customers. Can not put a price on great customer service.. Owners please take back the control in your own business and make a differance... it will...

Only giving 1 star because you have to in order to leave a review. Very disappointed. We have always loved this burger place and unfortunately after tonight's experience we will NOT be going back. The lady that took our order "Bre" was extremely rude. We got to the window and she didn't greet us just said here, here's your 1st drink(we had 5 drinks total) I asked her which one is this and she said I don't know I didn't take your order and slammed the window. She opened it back up and I mentioned the attitude she had was uncalled for and she said well the best I can do for you is give you an application because we are short handed and again, slammed the window. I let her know we understood the situation but she shouldn't be taking it out on paying customers because we are the reason she has a job. **Food was cold, order was wrong and for $40 I feel we could have had way better service/food...
