Taco Casa is the absolute BEST fast-food Mexican restaurant in Abilene, hands down! Their serving sizes are Grande, especially compared to other fast-food Tex-Mex places in town, like Taco Bell and Taco Bueno. They use the freshest ingredients (not frozen, pre-shipped, reused junk like some other places I know of) and even prep the toppings themselves, like shredding their own cheese, chopping their own lettuce and other vegetables, and cooking the their meat. One of my favorite items to get is their Tostada, which is usually piled high with refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes, and tons of cheddar cheese. At my most recent visit, the food was delicious as always, but as you can see in the photos, either one if two things happened this time: either...1.) they were in a hurry to make the tostada and did a sloppy job at making my tostada, thus creating the disaster shown in the photo...--> OR ...2.) it was our fault and the box got thrown around in the car on the way home from the restaurant, resulting in the toppings sliding off of the tortilla chip. Regardless of the visual mishap, it still tasted great (after I scooped everything back onto the chip šŸ˜‹). Another awesome thing about Taco Casa is their outstanding prices! They have the cheapest priced food, on top of having the largest portion sizes and freshest, most incredible tasting food! I most definitely recommend Taco Casa if you're in the mood for a delicious and quick bite to eat that won't disappoint. I give this Taco Casa location a 5- star rating for sure! A+!! āšŸ‘šŸ»šŸ§”

I get to visit Abilene 4-5 times per month for work, and I NEVER LEAVE WITHOUT STOPPING HERE TO EAT…!! I’m not sure how they do it, but it’s old school food, the way I remember back in the 80s/90s, and still prices as so. I have always been treated well when visiting, and the food has always been perfect…if you would want a negative, I have two… 1.) maybe update or just repair the men’s restroom sinks… 2.) PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF OUR ALL MIGHTY SAVIOR, PLEASE BRING YOUR CHAIN TO ARKANSAS..!!! All we have is taco hell, and we all know God doesn’t love Pepsi… I love this place…keep up the great work…!!!!

If you want soggy vomit looking nachos with plastic in them, this is the place to go. I specifically asked them to separate the mixes to prevent the sogginess, but I guess they don’t do that anymore? Every piece of nacho was heavily drenched with cheese, with all the moisture absorbed into each chip. I was really hoping to enjoy this meal, but it was terrible. šŸ˜”

Taco Casa is an exceptional fast-food restaurant that I highly recommend to anyone who loves Tex-Mex cuisine. The food is always fresh, delicious, and made to order, with all the classic Tex-Mex flavors that you know and love. The prices are very reasonable, making it a great spot for a filling and affordable meal. The staff is friendly and accommodating, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a great experience. The atmosphere is fun and lively, with bright colors and upbeat music that add to the overall vibe. And don't forget about the super nachos - they are simply amazing! Loaded with fresh ingredients, cheese, and jalapeƱos, they are a perfect blend of flavor and crunch. Overall, I highly recommend Taco Casa - it's a top-notch restaurant with great food, reasonable prices, and unbeatable...

I'll start by saying, I love Taco Casa - I will stop for it even in a sketchy part of town. This location is new-ish and kept very clean! The food is great. The staff is friendly if you get there early enough. The only thing I'm not crazy about is that they randomly decide to close early, give no reason, and just seem to want to go home early. They will lock the lobby doors over an hour before the closing time (posted on said doors), and avoid eye contact when you try to figure out why the door isn't opening. So you stand there for a moment like a sad puppy in the rain, and then walk back to your truck with a hole in your heart that a burrito could have filled. Get there before they decide they're done for the day and...
