Hunter and Maria are wonderful people. Our daughter is friends with their daughters and I'm grateful to know them. One might think that would cause bias for the review, but here's the thing, we went in on opening day and I swear every other person inside the packed house was addressing them by name. They're not just another coffee shop hoping to get your money, they're a community staple here in Acworth.
Now, onto the quality of their drinks. Coffee is something special to me. We counted up roughly 8 separate methods we personally use to make coffee at home. We're a bit pretentious sometimes but when it comes to a good cup of coffee, it's worth it. I don't like spending money on things I can make well at home, spening only a fraction of the price. That's why in recent months/years, I frequented Starbucks and Duncan less and less. This place, however, will be seeing me a good bit.
I went with the Havana Mocha. The flavor is unique; nutty and vibrant without being over sweet. It provides that coffee pick me up wrapped in an enjoyable experience. Great stuff!
We went on opening day (soft open?) so the place was packed. When things simmer down, I can see it being quite a chill spot to read or do some work. The decor is fun but not overbearing. They have an art piece on the wall made form books that gives off so much creativity. It makes me want to make art there.
It took a good deal of toil and hard work to get this place open, and I'm grateful for every bit of blood, sweat, and tears Hunter and Maria invested. What's exciting is that this is just the beginning, and I have no doubt great things are on the horizon for this Acworth...
Read moreWow. Just wow. This coffee is truly amazing! I had the Havana Caramel Latte with oat milk, and itâs honestly hard to put into words how good it was. Their Cuban Fusions coffee uses a unique technique where sugar is whisked into a portion of the hot espresso shot, elevating the sweetness and enhancing the flavor profile. You can truly taste the difference in every sip.
I also had the chance to talk with the owner, and he couldnât have been more down-to-earth. You can immediately tell how much he cares about family, community, and sharing his passion for coffee. His family owned a shop in Cuba, and that heritage and love for the craft shine through here.
It feels great supporting a place like thisâwhere the passion is real and every detail matters. This shop is a true gem and such a fantastic addition to the city. If youâre a coffee loverâor just someone who enjoys discovering something uniqueâyou need to...
Read moreWe're always looking for great coffee shops, and Crane's checks off all the boxes for me. As it happened, yesterday there was a HUGE train that was stopped across all the railroad crossings in Acworth as I was leaving the Acworth Business Association luncheon, and when I drove past Crane's I recognized it from the photo and saw the hot coffee cup sign so I quickly turned around, went back and got an iced latte, and a scone and blueberry muffin to take home to share with my hubby. Everything was wonderful. The atmosphere inside is warm and comfortable and there are some comfy places to sit which is PARAMOUNT for my hubby and I. Starbucks has lost our business because they no longer have any place that is comfortable to sit in ANY of their locations. We're sad about that, but it has enabled us to venture out and try great new places like this one!!! Give them a try, you won't be...
