Amanda from Cowan Historic Mill was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we first visited the venue, I fell in love with its charm, but Amanda made the entire experience even more special. She was such a pleasure to work with, bringing warmth, professionalism, and a can-do attitude to every step of the planning process. Her attention to detail and dedication to making our day perfect made all the difference.

What truly set Amanda apart was how adaptable and calm she remained when our wedding day weather took a drastic turn—from a sunny day to a full-blown hurricane. While I was on the verge of stressing out, Amanda stayed completely positive and reassured me that everything would still be beautiful. Her confidence and expertise instantly put me at ease. She and her team seamlessly executed the transition from our ceremony to the reception in what felt like a matter of minutes. Watching them flip the room so efficiently, you’d never know they had to make adjustments on the fly due to the weather!

Even with the sudden changes, everything went off without a hitch, from the décor setup to flawlessly coordinating the food service. The entire team at Cowan Historic Mill, under Amanda’s guidance, handled every detail with grace and precision. Amanda’s unwavering support and her ability to keep everything running smoothly truly took so much of the pressure off of us, allowing us to fully enjoy our day.

Our friends and family are still raving about how gorgeous the venue was and how perfectly everything flowed. It was such a joy to see all our guests having an amazing time, and we owe a huge part of that to Amanda and her team. We couldn’t have done it without her!

My husband and I had our wedding here back in June (2024). The venue was beautiful! Everything we dreamed of and more. The chandelier in the reception area was an especially romantic touch and dancing all night underneath it along with the brick ascetic was magical. On top of the venue being gorgeous, Sydney, our designated Coordinator we hired through the venue was absolutely amazing! I honestly hadn't given much thought to a coordinator as I am type A and didn't really need a coordinator to help in the months ahead but knew I'd need someone day of so was happy to go along with a coordinator through the venue so that they'd know the place. Despite being a "day of" coordinator, we actually started communicating with Sydney in the weeks before the wedding. But she truly shined starting with the rehearsal the night before. Sydney was lovely but was masterful at taking charge of situations in a calm and respectful way to make sure things ran smoothly and on time. She was such an important part of my wedding day and everything was set up beautifully by the time I arrived to get ready. Sydney was on top of literally everything! She is amazing and looking back I am soooo grateful for her, I didn't stress at all because of her and honestly feel that she is a huge part of making our wedding...
