Bojangles — Restaurant in Adairsville

Despite the bad reviews I've seen and heard about this location, I wanted to give it a try tonight. Big mistake. The guy misheard my order no worries it happens, I didn't mind pulling forward but I was never told it was going to be a 20 minute wait for my order just itll be right out. If I knew about the wait time I would have came back. There was me and one other car there. I had enough waiting and I asked for a refund I wasnt mean. They told me it just came up if I wanted my order or just the refund, I asked for the refund and said please. When they gave me my card back I said thank you, the lady than opens the door and yells she was nice to me....at that time I was the only one there. I dont appreciate the comment as if I was raising Kane and being rude. I pray I got my refund because I never got a receipt. I dont think I'll come back to this location I will make the drive to somewhere else. If yall heard me when I was in the phone yes I was annoyed that I was waiting without knowing why an i apologize if your feeling got hurt , I had somewhere to be and I saw only 1 car there and figured it would have been quick but unfortunately it wasnt so yes I was annoyed and told the person I was on the phone with what was up. Please do better with being quicker and notifying people if there is a wait and also repeating the person's order so there isn't a mix up at the paying window. I use to love coming to yall but tonight's experience was terrible. 8/5/22 Back at Bojangles again. 20 minutes in line with only 3 cars ordering. Ordered 2 - 3 piece meals. One with 2 mashed potatoes and one with Mac & chesse and slaw. Both dinners had 2 legs and a breast. Should have been 2 thighs and a leg. Sides correct on the one with mashed potatoes. The other only had the Mac & cheese. No slaw. Some pieces of the chicken were over cooked or old. I just don't get it.

This location was doing pretty good for a while. Now it is just a disaster. I live in Adairsville and my last 5 visits here have been really bad. Most of the time I am told they are out of certain pieces or sides. Get your order home and the chicken is hard and old or your missing items. I have waited in the drive thru for 40 minutes before. If I wasn't pulling a trailer and people behind me I would have left. My last visit I wanted 2 meals. I was told all they had was breast and 2 legs. I am like what? This is a chicken place. I finally said hey how long will it take to cook some. They replied hold on a minute.... Then said it was coming up now. Weird. The people are friendly enough but I don't come here to make friends. If I could leave 0 stars I absolutely would have. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a food establishment (and I’ve worked in the food industry over 10 years). The rudeness and attitude of the employees was laughable at best and infuriating at worst. Not only were they unable to accurately take our order, but they were rude to us through the entire interaction we had there. Our orders were all incorrect or missing items. We had to ask for utensils, straws and sauces 3 times and not to mention we waited over 15 minutes for an order that wasn’t even correct! Also no receipt was given to us because they knew they weren’t going to make our order correctly and when we asked for straws one of the women working rolled her eyes at us. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE service when we were nothing but patient and polite because as I previously stated, myself and almost every other person in my car actively works in the food service industry (and management at that). For an establishment “under new management,” the experience we just had was embarrassing for the brand of Bojangles. I will make sure to inform anyone going towards that location to avoid it at all costs.
