Maravilla's Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Adamsville

First time visiting, the food was great, and I made it for happy hour!!! They have the happiest of hours bc it lasts from 3 until 7. They were short staffed last night, but their cook is fantastic! He made up for the slight wait time. I got a shrimp quesadilla and 2 lime margaritas. The peppers and onions were perfectly sautéed, the shrimp was fresh tasting and not overcooked, and the tortilla was still soft and warm. Covered in queso cheese, just the right amount. There is so much love in this meal. I can see why they are always packed. I was with my family celebrating my son's 21st bday. Everyone got something different, but all were happy with their choices and got to go boxes bc there was just so much food. Chili relleno, soft beef tacos, beans and rice, burrito, and my dad ordered a baked potato that was topped with steak, queso, and sautéed peppers and onions. His took longer, but he really liked it. The dining room is large and very colorful. There is a beautiful picture on the wall that I wanted to take a photo of but did not want to disrupt anyone's dinner. New fave restaurant for Mexican. Update: During our most recent visit, July 3rd 2025, as we were sitting and waiting on our food we noticed a little "friend" crawling around on the wall right beside our table. The friend was a little nasty German cockroach. We pointed it out to who we believe to be the manager. He kindly killed it and then went about his business watching the TV over the bar area. We were hesitant about eating our meal after that but we had just ordered $100 worth of food. Afterwards when we checked out the man still acted like it was no big deal. Checked us out like it was a normal dining experience and didn't comp anything on our ticket. Given we didn't expect $100 worth of food for free but we did expect some sort of apology or explanation or just something in general. Sadly we have to find a new favorite Mexican restaurant because we won't be returning to this one after 5 years of dining with them.

This is the best Mexican restaurant we have tried since moving to Alabama! Everything was delicious from the salsa & chips to the tacos. Our waiter was attentive and had a good sense of humor. They had karaoke night and I gotta say I fully enjoyed watching people sing.

We ordered the fajita nachos w/ chicken and these are the tastiest nachos I have had in a long time. Super flavorful. My boyfriend ordered the burrito and OMG it was massive. The plate is oval shaped and the burrito was literally the length of the plate and thick. I ordered the street tacos w/ 2 carnitas tacos and 2 pescado tacos. The tacos came with this delicious spicy sauce on the side. The tacos were full of flavor.
