Bright, open, comfortable space for people meeting up in pairs, groups, or working solo. Outlets available along walls under bench seating. Two bathrooms divide the front room from the more dim/ "cozier" room in the back, which offers additional seating in the form of larger, wider tables. Acoustics are decent for the size and height of the ceiling /open brick space. Ironically this cafe has a quiet ambience that makes it great for working on a laptop with headphones on without getting distracted by the typical loud, jarring sounds normally heard at smaller or more common cafes. Music is not too distracting or loud, and features a wide range of genres. I think the staff changed it up manually to mix it up every hour or so. It didn't sound too generic or predictable. Also, the staff here are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, sweet, and cheery, and made suggestions to customers while they ordered. I loved my cold brew and Lorraine Croissant which was heated up. The absolutely gorgeous and enviable "living wall" full of real plants 💚 at the front is an AWESOME use of vertical wall space. It is always great to see businesses using real plants. I also appreciate the subtle stylish additions like the pretty chandeliers and beautiful metal hand-created signage on the other walls. Metal chairs at the tables near the other side of the cafe are not that comfortable after awhile, but not terrible either. Bathrooms are accessible for all needs and there is a high chair near the bar if you need one for a kid. Parking is tricky as the lots in the front and back can fill up quickly at the start of the day/midday.

Great coffee spot, super cozy and delicious espresso drinks. My second time here and I was looking forward to getting a Cortado, my favorite way of having espresso. Was not disappointed at all! They must use really good beans and know how to treat them. Coffee wasn’t bitter, super smooth. Cortado wasn’t served in the traditional glass but I didn’t mind one bit. My wife had the Bartolome and my sips of that were fantastic. I don’t know what makes it so yummy - maybe the oat milk! The other one we tried on our first visit was the Sacajawea - a spiced mocha - which was very sophisticated and worth a try. My first try here was the Lumberjack, a maple tinged espresso, which was very good too, although a bit sweet for my senses. I would order any of these drinks again. A good pairing for these coffees is their choice of donuts; you can never go wrong with donuts with coffee. Great place, close enough for my wife and I, so we’re sure to return.

I go here often and it always feels like a hit or miss. First off when I ask for a 20oz, I am still receiving the same cup size as the smaller size. When I asked why they were unsure and said that, this is how the owners created it to be. RIDICULOUS to be charged more for the same amount. There are two girls that work on Thursdays that make my coffee watery. Versus the woman who works on Tuesday and my coffee is perfect. I get a frozen poetry and prose every time I go. I usually go Tuesday evenings because I work next door for 16hours. Thursdays I dont really go. These last two Thursdays I went, I have gotten a really watery coffee. Seems to me they need more training. Besides these two things, I have no other complaints. Train those girls better because this is bad for business to have good coffee one day and bad watered down frozen coffee the next. Below you can see the frozen at the top and watery at the bottom. Update 2: Brewpoint has again changed their cups and lids, and every single coffee I order leaks from under the lid, and sometimes the lid even pops off unexpectedly, which can be a hazard. I believe it's due to the heat warping the plastic on the lids. Regardless, they desperately need to switch to (yet another) cup/lid so that their customers are not having to worry about staining their clothes every time they want coffee. tl;dr their coffee is amazing but their cups are horrible.

Update 1: Brewpoint has changed their lids to a new Solo plastic lid that I haven't had any problems with spilling. I'm upping my review to 5 stars.

I love Brewpoint's coffee, and I really like the atmosphere they've created inside the store. I order their coffee beans to go so I can brew their coffee at my home, too. However, they really need to do something about their coffee cups. They leak every single time, and have for years. I think it's the lip of the cup that warps under the heat/steam of the coffee. I cannot drive down the street to my home without it leaking all over my car. When I get home, I have to stuff paper towel up under the lid to keep it from dripping all over my shirt. It's gotten to the point where I'm contemplating making the switch to Charbucks just because their cups don't leak and I'm tired of wiping up my car...

It has been awhile since I've visited location, and decided to drop in for some tea. I was going into this place expecting the same great atmosphere and service like the downtown Elmhurst location. Unfortunately, that is not the case here.

The vibe is very rundown, rustic, and dark. Yes, there is a lot of natural light, but that area is usually crowded and the lighting gets worse the farther you go. I recognize that people like this type of atmosphere, but it is not for me.

Also, the baristas there really did not seem to care about interacting with the customers and actually listen to them. Appeared to care more about what's going on in their lives than the needs of the store and patrons. Also, when I asked for some ice to cool down my tea, I was told, "No." For a store that prides themselves on being progressive on many important things, they have taken a step backwards in basic customer service.

It is a shame that this location cannot live up to what makes the downtown Elmhurst location great. I've visited this location a few times in the past, and after todays visit I can confirm not much has changed. At least it is still the same great tasting coffee. But is it worth the hassle? I...
