La Autentica Michoacana — Restaurant in Addison Township

The cashier’s are not friendly and don’t pay attention to what the customer asks for. Plus I paid with my credit card and noticed that there was a credit card fee on my receipt. When I asked the cashier why there was a charge and was not advised about it before paying she said that there was a notice posted right by the register. Good ice cream and mangonadas but for me that about it. The Elotes are straight trash, $7 for it, and not even good corn and very little on toppings. A trip for two elotes and 2 aqua frescas will set you back a whopping $25. Definitely not worth the price compared to other locations. I have had their ice cream and mangonadas a while back and I enjoyed them, and was hoping for their other options to also be as good but was very disappointed.

I was excited to try this place because I heard it was amazing. The inside is pretty clean and very modern. They have a huge selection of ice cream desserts. I got the pistachio ice cream and was disappointed. The ice cream is almost too rich and doesn't really taste like the flavor it's supposed to be. I also got to try the cookies & cream and a mango ice. Felt the same about both. Very disappointed. I think I'll stick with Twistee Treat. Though I may try this place again...
