Update: (DO NOT visit this place if you'd like to get blamed for your personal experience and/or review.) The GM posted a response. Instead of being professional and appropriate, he blamed me for my experience without having even met me or discussed any of my issues at the restaurant. I'm not sure why he left his name and contact information. I can only assume it would be to reach out? Most professionals, but he did NOT, would include, "I'm so sorry, please reach out." Let me address his reply: First, I never met him (the GM) nor had any contact with him (the GM). Second, I never claimed to be vegan, but I did have someone in our party who is. You did not address my actual concern in your reply, which was a Gluten sensitivity. But you would know that if you did not just go off of, what I can only assume was/were, heated conversations from your servers. (We all know THOSE conversations about customers.) Third, the bar manager who took over our service was really wonderful and professional. Maybe she should actually be the GM since she can hold her composure and not submit tantrum replies. She did mention the restaurant is being revamped. Hopefully you, as the GM, can get some customer service training. Last, yes, other restaurants would be better suited simply from your response to MY review, (see below). I emphasize MY because this was my experience based on the customer service, taste and quality of the food, and atmosphere. Future customers should know what to expect. (Hopefully you'll clean the fish tank.) After all, most people do a Google search to find good restaurants. Hopefully they will see mine. My experience was not the greatest. I'm not sure if it's common up north, but many restaurants seem to only have Coke or Diet Coke but no Coke Zero. While I understand that the fountain options can be limited due to the machine size, I wonder why the option for Coke Zero is far and few between. The waitress was not knowledgeable on the items as it relates to gluten free and vegan allergies. Good management should train all of their servers, but servers should also want to be knowledgeable. When asked about vegan bread options (a lot of bread contains milk or eggs), the server had no knowledge on this. I asked her if there was someone more knowledgeable about the menu items and she clinched her teeth and walked off. Keep in mind, she already stated that she had never been asked if the bread was vegan, AND she stated she wasn't familiar with the vegan and GF items. Several minutes later, another server came. She handed me the allergy card. (She then became our server for the rest of our time at the restaurant.) Hey Chomp owner(s), ever thought about putting a QR code that takes you to the allergy card? It would be easy to add this as a text box to the upper right hand corner on the first page of your menu? Now, let's talk about the fish tank in the middle of the restaurant. A dirty fish tank is very off putting. It appeared that the tank was greenish brown. I'm not sure if that was intentional or not, but it's very gross. If you've ever owned and cleaned a fish tank, you know this smell and process. I ordered a BLT half salad. For the quantity and flavor, I was not impressed with the price. The chicken was very bland, but it looked really good. I'm sure it would be perfect for the dressing, which adds to the flavor. The bacon was crispy, which is important. Overall, I was not impressed and will most likely not be back.

This place has a great atmosphere and good music. The employees are super friendly, filled our water glasses and brought extra napkins before we asked. The food took a while so our waitress brought us chips with pico and cheese for free. Pico was fresh with just the right amount of cilantro. All food was amazing! My husband, who is a chili connoisseur, said the chili was really good. The burgers were cooked just how we asked. My daughter's hand-breaded chicken tenders didn't last very long and she devoured her fries. The bacon jam was so good that I'm gonna have to check my Bible to make sure it's not a sin! Calling the house salad a house salad isn't enough because this salad is way better than a regular house salad! Loads of walnuts and cranberries with tangy blue cheese and a perfectly cooked, generous portion of chicken on top. I'll have to figure out a better way to eat a lettuce wrapped burger next time because I made a huge mess, lol. Maybe next time I'll pay the extra $3 for a gluten-free bun!

Our server was AMAZING! Menu pages were stuck together, which is a little gross. Bathroom has an air dryer, also gross. I was advised that cocktails weren't made just right so I ordered tea. Burger size is average IMO and with so many powerful sauces and pungent cheeses, the exotic meat is overwhelmed. I wouldn't waste money on the upcharge. The country music was pipped outside so you have an impression of what the place will be like. I expected more of a cowboy bar than a Steampunk scene. It felt like the decor and music were fighting. To top it off, the slower time that we ate seemed to encourage the staff to gossip near our table. We got to hear who was sleeping with whom, which party was lit and who got in at 2:00am. Probably better conversation for a break area, not so much the dinning room of where you work. It just wasn't the greatest experience for the distance we drove.

We were told 20-25 minutes when we got there. About 15 minutes in, we were told ‘the kitchen is backed up, it will be another 20 minutes or so.’

We were on our way home and had 2 hours of driving ahead of us, with 6 kids. We wanted the outdoor dining for covid reasons (and had requested it at the outset) and felt like it was worth waiting the other 20 minutes.

Another 30 minutes later (so 45 minutes of total wait time) and we inquired.

‘The kitchen is backed up. It will be a little longer.’

I asked why we couldn’t get seated, maybe order a quick appetizer. There were clearly open seats inside and outside. Since we had been here only 2 or 3 parties had arrived been seated, and several had left.

The hostess just said they couldn’t seat us yet.

Another 15 minutes later (an hour total wait with 6 hungry, road weary kids) and I finally asked for a manger. A woman came out a few minutes later and repeated the same line. ‘Kitchen backed up.’

I plead my case. Explained my situation. Asked again why we couldn’t just be seated. Let the kids get a drink, look at a menu, maybe get a quick appetizer.

She protested but on my persistence relented and said she would seat us soon.

They came to get us and seat us and had a table set up inside. I reminded them that we had requested outdoor seating. The host told me that there was a big party outside. There wasn’t room.

“There are several tables out there. I just saw a big party leave about 30 minutes ago. You mean to tell there isn’t a single open table out there?’

Sure enough, about 2 minutes later they came and told us they could seat us. There was 1 table on the patio that had 3 diners at it. The rest were empty. A couple larger parties indoors, but none outside.

Once we got served, our server was polite and the food was decent. A few of the burgers were smaller than we expected, but the chicken sandwich was massive. No complaints about the taste for any of it.

In general we were all satisfied with the food and the service (which is why this isn’t a 1-star review).

At no point did they apologize for the massive delay.

With that sort of mismanagement, I can’t in good faith rate this place higher than 1 star. We will not...

Definitely the best burger joint we've ever been to! We were in town un the evening and looking for somewhere to have a dinner date, and they were open until 10 so we decided to stop in. It had caught my eye before but I hadn't had the time to stop in. Honestly, this place blew my partner and I out of the water. We walked in, were seated right away, service was very quick, our waitress was amazing, it was a very clean place with immaculate vibes! We loved the decor, from the steam punk decor on the walls to the fish tank behind the bar. It was beautiful! The food? TOP TIER. From the appetizers to the burgers and wings, everything was absolutely perfect! We got half fried pickles and half jalapeño poppers for our appetizers, and I can honestly say I've never had such good jalapeño poppers! They weren't too hot, temperature or spice wise, they were just right, and the cream cheese was soooo good! They had quite a range of signature burgers, my partner went with the classic and I decided on the Queen Blueberry. Both were absolutely amazing! The spicy Blueberry sauce was absolutely delicious, the way it paired with the Swiss cheese and the caramelized onions really blew my mind, the way the flavors all blended together and the way they tasted really made the experience for me. For sides, I got the Coleslaw and my partner got fries. The fries were perfect and they tasted wonderful! The Coleslaw was the perfect side to pair with the Queens Blueberry burger, it was nice to calm down the spice after I demolished my burger lol. The boneless wings were delicious! We got half Buffalo and half honey garlic. The Buffalo was perfect, it wasn't too hot spice wise, and the honey garlic was a nice cool down. I love honey, and the honey garlic really got to me, it was so flavorful and sweet and well done!

The price was very reasonable, we spent about $75 for everything, and it was more than worth it for everything we got. We will...
