China Garden — Restaurant in Affton

I ordered online like I've done the past year I've lived in this area. Never had an issue with this store until tonight I ordered like I usually did online. It declined my card twice and then charged me $50 twice I called up there to see about the issue and couldn't get an adult. When I called a child around 8 or 7 answered the phone and was taking orders because "there wasn't an adult there that could speak English" and that she couldn't help me because she didn't have her mom's phone ummmmm ok? So after calling 3 times trying to get my money back or atleast my food ( I'm talking to a flusterd child the entire time stressed beyond belief) I went up there to solve the issue. Same issue occurred no English speaking adults they couldn't help me kept saying I was in the wrong place I never paid for my food which was they eventually called the owner the child's mother in a loud kitchen I tried to hear and talk to this women about my order just to be told to call the website because they don't take online orders I've ordered from this exact place for a year and a half and I only ever ordered online so I guess some random Chinese restaurant randomly got my order and money?? If bad service doesn't keep you away how about child labor this child was no older than 8 she could barely look over the cou...

We ordered delivery. I had a long day, didn't want to cook and wanted to try this place. The food was really good. HOWEVER, I tracked the delivery driver through the automated system and I went to the door to meet him. We live in a single family house with a really bright front porch light and an oversized, lit address sign. There was no reason for the driver to miss us. We got a text from the driver that he was there and had left our food at our garage. Problem is, we don't have a garage and we're doing construction in our backyard. I texted the driver number and called--no response. My partner had to climb through the construction and walk the alley until he found our food. It wouldn't matter if that was the very best food I'd had in my life. We will never order from them again. The driver left our food in the ALLEY in front of someone else's garage. I called the restaurant and was offered only an apology....

First time coming to China Garden on McKenzie Rd. I ordered Beef fried rice to dine in and a bottle of water. The tables were very sticky . I asked if she could wipe off my table So she proceeds to hand me one square of dry paper towel. Told her I need something wet because the table was dirty & sticky, she told me to use my bottle of water to wet it. Um, okay... I did. She brings my food to the table & I asked if they have red pepper and something to eat my rice with? She yells across the room to me "yeah, come & get it" I said excuse me? She said again "Come & get it" The dining area was full of boxes & hard to maneuver to a table to dine in. The beef? IF that's what it truly was.... didn't seem like real meat, boiled maybe? The cooking area & kitchen lighting was Very Dim! Last time I will patronize this place & the rudeness of the cashier was so uncalled for. I would actually rate...
