AGUADILLA ROOFTOP experience (ARTe) — Restaurant in Aguada

I made reservations for a party of 12. Social media spoke highly of this place. reason why I selected this restaurant for it its great reviews. We arrived 10 minutes late due to traffic. They sat us down immediately and were told they were expecting us. I figured they were preparing for our large party. However, it took 20 minutes for someone to attend our table. We were given a scan code to pull up their cocktail and food menu. Then we had to wait another 20 minutes to meet our waitress to take our drink order, appetizer, and main entree. It took about an hour and thirty minutes to receive our appetizers and another 20 minutes to receive our main entree. The waitresses checked if we needed refills on our drinks and told us the food for coming. The waitress tried her best, but it was out of her hands why our food took so long.

I asked for two orders of a sort of dessert to sing Happy Birthday to two members of our party. I was told they do not sing Happy Birthday, but they can provide the desert with a candle, and we can sing Happy Birthday. 45 minutes later, we were billed, and we had to ask for a discount for the horrible service. We were given 10% off our bill. The desert never came before we paid. I asked the waitress status of the desserts for the bday members. She returned 15 minutes with two to-go boxes with their desserts. I was shocked and told the waitress this was a horrible experience, and I stormed out of the restaurant. I live nearby, and have had good experiences here. Tonight was awful. The waiter rejected my choice of dinner and explained the many superior choices over mine. After three requests, he grudgingly accepted my choice. 30 minutes later, my date and I decided to leave, not having been served. Sadly, our waiter brought us our meal just then. My fries were quite cold, which is not uncommon. The burger was overdone (I specified medium rare) and too salty to eat. My date's meal was fine. She didn't enjoy her cocktail, but I thought it fabulous.

As we were preparing to leave, I caught the eye of a waitress raised my eyebrows in the universal sign of "something I want". She looked away and sped past my table, determined not to assist. Moments later, I approached the bar to ask for my check. The same waitress saw me, turned her back, and nudged another waiter to help me. The most rude action I can recall from wait staff.

Food was bad, 30 min to get inside (wouldn't be so bad if the experience had been nice), waiters forget about you and constant disco music. Here's me experience. Had to wait around 15 min for a waiter to get to us to give us our menu and then a little while longer for him to come back to take our orders. After gave us what we ordered and left, we didn't get any utensils so we had to ask another nearby waiter to get us utensils. My girlfriend asked for a mofongo relleno de camarones and mine was a churrasco with a side of mofongo. Both mofongos were really hard, I at least had the churrasco which was really good but the mofongo was horrible and my girlfriend had it more rough since her whole entree was the mofongo. Before i started eating, the waiter had asked me if I'd like some mayoketchup with my mofongo, I said yes but he never came back. And for some reason, they play odd disco music the entire night.
