Food itself was mediocre at the very best. Ordered 1.5# lobster and chillo frito and both were surely under weight, must have been 1#. The lobster was over-cooked and the snapper was under-seasoned. The mofongo was extremely coarse and dry. Worst we’ve had on the island. The arañitas were so crisp you could barely bite into one. The rice and beans was honestly the best seasoned and most enjoyable part of the meal. But we couldn’t even enjoy those as there were literally a hundred flies swarming us as soon our food came out. We’ve been eating at beach bars all our lives (and for the better part of the last couple of weeks in PR) this is not a normal or sanitary level of flies. None of the staff seemed to care. I can only imagine how many flies are landing on the food before it comes out of the kitchen. We tried to get the waitress’s attention several times (apps came but we weren’t given plates), our kiddos were thirsty and my husband couldn’t find staff inside to order water. Had to ask twice for our check when we were clearly grossed out and trying to get out of there. The most attentive thing the waitress did was pull a hair out of a dish as she was serving it to the table. Also saw waitresses smoking their vapes inside...

If you are looking for the best food you have ever had, then this is not the place for you. Don't get me wrong, the food is decent and everyone left the restaurant feeling generally satisfied, but you wouldn't come back to the restaurant because the food of the food.
Our server was very kind and patient, considering he had to explain things to us multiple times due to the rbreeze making it difficult for everyone at the table to hear him. I think he explained what guayabo rolls were at least 4 times. He was truly an mvp in that regard.
The real draw of the restaurant was the location of the restaurant, which was right on the beach. While I wouldn't call the view picturesque, it did provide a very relaxed and laid back atmosphere that we really enhanced our dining experience.
I would recommend this restaurant to you if you are looking for a good atmosphere with great service to give you that "being treated like you're at a nice hotel" vibe.
I would return to this restaurant, but I wouldn't actively...
Read moreI must say the food here is amazing. My wife and i ordered the churassco, with Calamari for appetizers. Mojitos and cosmopolitans for drinks . The steak was excellent, cooked to perfection, arrived hot and beautifully placed with decorative hints in our plates...juicy and tender with every bite delicious. The calamari was not rubbery at all, very fresh and a light crunch, mmm so tasty and that's not even mentioning the service or the atmosphere. Our waiter george was responsive and always made sure we had everything we asked for. Food also came very quickly and served with a smile and kindness throughout our meal. All this while sitting literally yards from the beautiful crashing waves of Puerto Rico. It's not often a resturaunt gets everything right. Once in a while, you find those little perfect spots... like this gem. I will definitely be returning on my next vacation to be enticed by more flavorfully cooked meals. Thank you for a great time.. and also pricing...
