What an amazing experience. My wife and I came here after having date night dinner, and I'm so glad we did it. It was really interesting watching the video about how they made the cocoa into the chocolate while we were waiting.
I'll be honest, it was a bit expensive. Then again, you're not just paying for the actual treat your paying for the fact that it's a whole experience being there. It's not just chocolate, it's way beyond that. It's true Culinary Artistry. The brownie was very unique and delicious. You could taste a hint of bitterness that shows that natural cocoa inside of it. My wife also got the Chocolate Mousse cup, but honestly, I don't think it really highlighted the natural chocolate artistry, though it was delicious and probably a great idea for children whose mind isn't very open to Natural chocolate and heavy cocoa flavor.
To give you an idea of the price, a chocolate bar with maybe 10 pieces of square chocolates, was $8. But the artisan style chocolates oh, you got like four for $12. My wife and I paid $18.01 for a cappuccino, a hibiscus tea, a brownie, and a chocolate mousse cup. If I would make any recommendation, it would be to get slightly larger coffee cups. The cappuccino was almost 4 bucks after-tax, and it was gone long before I finish my brownie. It seemed a really small for the price oh, but it was also just as good as the amazing brownie. Truly a delicious coffee made from a high-quality espresso machine from locally-sourced...
Read moreI found this place while checking what to do or where to go while staying in the area. It's located in a main road and easy to see, you can't miss it. The building and the surroundings are clean, and I must add that is cozy and maybe even beautiful. Inside you're transported to a really nice experience. The atmosphere, the decorations and their products all look great. We tried some of the pastries, and these are all delicious. I forgot the name of a little pastry filled with cream, it looks like a little honey biscuit. That was sooo good! What about their version of the samoa cookies. Brutally delicious too! Almost everything is locally sourced, specially cacao and coffee beans, and cooked/baked in house. Overall, it was a delightful experience. From the "bombones", my favorite was the one made with passion fruit. As others have mentioned, some of their menu items falls on the expensive side and many has no price tag. So, be ready or just ask. The girls there are super nice, professional and pretty...
Read moreWow! We stopped right before closing and it was packed and loud! The people were happy and so were the employees of the family owned business. While in line, Alondra, showed us her hand made creams that she makes from the cocoa butter. The lotions smelled amazing and felt even better. She told us of all the roles of her family members in their family business. We bought six pieces of chocolate, all of which Alondra recommended. Alondras favorite is the passion fruit, and it was our favorite too. We also bought the three layered chocolate mouse, and we had crème brûlée crème puffs - amazing.
I suggest to buy a box of 4 chocolates - 2 of the passion fruit, and 2 of whatever you fancy, but that passion fruit chocolate stole the show. Thanks Alondra for the...
