I’ve always loved Hardee’s since I was a kid but I’m so sad to see that they are declining and declining. The food is still good but this restaurant was fairly run down and filthy.
The bathroom needed some real attention! The darn stall doors didn’t even lock! This is very unfortunate when you’ve been driving for a long time and have possibly waited one or two exits too long.
The walls of this restaurant were nothing short of gross. Really, how hard is it to run a cleaning cloth up and down a wall. Unfortunately, this problem is not special to just this restaurant, I’m sure that no one washes walls any more!
The restaurant was not so disgusting that I left without my food, but I was appalled when I swiped my card to pay for my FAST FOOD and the machine asked me if I wanted to add a tip?!?! I’m not opposed to tipping, I waited tables and bartendered my way through college but our philosophy as servers was “if you can’t afford to tip the servers who only make $2.09 per hour, (which btw, has not changed since I was in college in the 80’s), then go get fast food. Well, I think the concept of tipping has gotten out of control!
Hardee’s, bad form…. And get your act together, I liked your restaurants and would hate to see...
Read moreAbout 1:45 pm today, 24 July, I went through the drive through and had to repeat my order 3 times, slowly and with very clear diction. I waited 15 minutes at the pick-up window just as the car ahead of me began to leave, but stopped just away from the drive through, and the passenger hurried in to discuss something and to pickup some food—they hadn’t been given. As I waited, no one told me that my order (straight off of the menu with NO special instructions)would take longer (a lot longer) than expected. When I did get my food, the person (no name tag) said, as she turned away and began to leave the window to go into the bowels of the kitchen, “Sorry for the wait.” Never a smile, not even a friendly tone. Read moreI'm guessing the people at this Hardee's hate working in the morning. Their menu board could not be seen because of fog and evidently no one has the ability to take a paper towel out and wipe the glass down. With that in mind you can imagine they are a very lazy crew. This type of behavior always stems from the manager. Then I had the woman at the drive-thru window first yell at me and then argue. She has the personality of a bobcat in heat. I would guess she probably hates her job and hates people more. You have a lot of options at this exit I would try one of the other ones. I have been to that McDonald's many times and it is far superior. No coupons or gift card could make it worth the venture into this Hardee's.
