First I would like to say that the food there is excellent, but the experience I had last week was just terrible. My son and I order from here very often and so does my family. We called in an order which came to $21 my son who is 17 noticed that he was shorted $5. We went back and made them aware of the shortage. They said you gave us $25 and we said no we gave you $30. The guy which I found out later was the manager said I took the order I said I know. He proceeded to count his drawer in which I suggested that the girl who was there count the drawer which my request was ignored. He said I havent used this drawer all day, mind you its 5 o'clock in the afternoon. He said the drawer wasn't over. The lady then said I'm not going to argue with you. I responded I'm not arguing with you over $5. She said I'll just give you $5. I said thank you and left. The next day we tried to order over the phone and she said your number is blocked. Unbelievable! So I called from my numer which is one digit different from my sons, they didnt answer the phone it kept ringing and then went to a busy tone. So since its so close I went to the pizza shop to order, she asked for my number so I gave her my sons number and it wasn't blocked so I proceeded to place my order. I asked how can my sons number be blocked over the phone but not in person? They manager came over and said we blocked you I said why? and he said because you took something that wasn't yours, basically calling me a thief. I said it was your mistake, he said cancel her order your blocked too, threw his hands up and walked away! I was stunned!! I was so upset i called my eldest son from my car to ask him to call in for us because my son and i had just gotten of of work and just wanted some good food and go home and relax. He said mom just go somewhere else, if they dont want your money!! We ended up going to showcase chicken on machester, which by the way their food was good but not like theirs. Before leaving I asked when would Angelo be in or available and was ignored so i left. Very unprofessional! Because of covid19 we call in all of our orders. I know I'm only one voice (customer) but I'll never patronize this place again. I love Angelo and what he does for our community (giving back). I figure when I patronize his business we are both giving back!!! The free chips, pizza, juice boxes for the kids, were outstanding, and how he helped my organizations with our fundraisers in the pass. Read moreI just got hung up on and told "You know what I don't need this tonight" after calling for rectification regarding my false order. This sadly began hours ago when I tried to use my emailed online coupon code, but their online checkout was not working. I called in as directed by the online checkout's error message and made my order over the phone, where they would not honor the discount code. I explained I was a fan and returning customer, but they still refused it. I ordered regardless. My order for boneless wings (all drums, which is an option on their website) ended up being delivered as bone-in. I called in and politely explained the situation, where I was met with hostility and patronization at the exclaim of "we don't even offer a boneless option for all wings," where I asked if they could please not be unkind as I've been respectful all evening. That was when they hung up.
This was a truly devastating customer experience. I can safely say in my life as a former customer experience professional that I've never received such dehumanized, callous treatment. The few reviews I've posted in my life have been fairly positive, but LeeAngelo's has left me no other option but to leave this grievance. This is extremely unfortunate and I cannot humanely recommend this customer treatment to other people. Read moreI order from here almost every week. 99% of the time the food is amazing! I ordered a pepperoni pizza and after getting home discovered it wasnt cooked completely. I called and was told to bring it back in and they would make a replacement. I get my replacement, go to the car and the new pizza is raw too! I go back in and was told that they would toss it back in the oven. I decided I didnt want a reheated half cooked pizza and asked for my money back. I had to argue with the owner for 5 minutes before he would honor my refund. He said that he has food cost to worry about and cant be giving out refunds and that he was blocking my number. I totally understand that it costs money to make pizzas but if you are in the business of making great food, and you make my food 2 times and its not even cooked? Thats your own food cost you are throwing away. Not to mention that I spend hundreds a month at this establishment. So by arguing about a $15 refund you have lost thousands in revenue because I wont be back here for quite awhile. Because I'm banned for not wanting to pay for a raw pizza. Good job Angelo. I also notice this isnt the only review like this on google. Seems the customer service issues start at the top. EDIT: This was a 5 star that I changed to 1.
