Rocco's Pizza — Restaurant in Akron

I would rate higher knowing that we have been ordering from here for the past few years but we had a horrible experience and I can't forgive them for what we went through. We probably ordered over a hundred dollars worth of food per month and tipped really good but that didn't help out our situation. So here's what happened, I am a great customer and on the day of me ordering food I just got out of the hospital. I couldn't get out of bed. It was my first day home in 3 weeks and my children were hungry including me. We wanted our go to pizza place. Well I ordered and as usual our bill came to $52. The girl on the phone ran my card and said it didn't go through. I said ok I will call the bank, and I did. The girl ran my card 2 times for $79!!!!! I was mad of course. That's all the money I had. I couldn't drive or walk somewhere else because I just had major surgery. Plus now I'm broke..Again why did she say everything came to 52 then charged what she did twice? So I called the store and asked what was going on, I asked many questions because I was confused. All I got in response was the girl telling me I would definitely have my money back the next day and when I asked to talk to a manager she laughed at me.... My husband did call the owner a couple days later when the money was still never put back on the card and he told the owner about the girl laughing and the owner said it was probably someone in the background? Then the owner said the same thing, it would be on the card the next day. Anyway it took almost a month to get the money back We did ask the owner if he could make it right and send out a pizza a few days later since we were totally screwed and the guy had the nerve to say he needs to make money too. His company took all our money from over charging us. Good thing I have loved ones that helped out with groceries for the week. I'm sick over giving them so...

DO NOT GO HERE! Absolutely awful customer service!! Awful management! DO NOT GO HERE! Ripped me off for $72.00 for food that I did not receive for a party! They had informed me my card did not go through due to there computer glitching out my card was charged I showed them it my bank account they had informed me it was my fault that I gave them the wrong zip code.. I have lived at the same address for 16+ years. The worker had asked me 3 times for my zip code and repeated it back to me correctly. While I was there trying to figure out when my money would go back on my card or if they were going to supply my party with the food I paid for. The same thing happened to another customer!!!! They had told the other customer the same lie saying it was there fault over their zip code!! I was told the money would go back onto my card or I would get store credit. A week later never got refunded for my money never made it right by making the pizzas or even giving me store credit nothing. I went to Regina’s right down the street 110% better quality than Rocco’s and they have amazing customer service they supplied for my party very last minute! My friends and family will never go back to roccos...

Two stars- one because the food was delivered on time and second star goes to the amazing deep fried Twinkie! But other than that I am so disappointed. Maybe the pizza is good idk but we ordered subs and they were over toasted and hard with hardly any meat. Mine was ham and cheese and I could barely taste the ham i had to look to find it under a thin layer of melted cheese and too much lettuce and tomato. Plus I asked for mayo on it and all they did was give me 1 packet for a whole sub so it tasted really dry. My boyfriend's BLT hardly had any bacon. The fried raviolli were soggy and the marinara dipping sauce wad really salty. The dog enjoyed it all though! I was sad cuz i actually got off of work early for once and just wanted yo lounge with my family and eat good food and it wasn't good. Judging by the other reviews it wouldn't be worth it to call and complain because I don't want a 10% discount on my next order cuz I wouldn't never order again unless I was offered...
