Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Alabama

I was wanting a late night sweet treat and with not many options in town, I decided to stop by for a Sonic Blast. I pulled up to the first stall and it had a black screen, I drove to another stall and it also had a black screen, I drove to a third stall that finally looked to be working and pressed the button. I waited for about 5 minutes and no one came to take my order and the whole time the screen said the button was activated. A lady pulled up next to me and got someone so after she ordered, I hit the button again. Still nothing. An employee came out so I asked if the stall was working and she said no. So I asked why a sign wasn't on it and she said it was working this morning. Okay, but it's not working now. So I drove around again and hit the button just to continue to wait. The whole time I was waiting, I was also trying to place a mobile order, but the app was glitching out and would ask me to sign in, bring me back to the app and ask me to sign in again. So after 20 minutes of waiting, I pushed the button one last time and she finally answers. I ask for a blast and she tells me they're only doing shakes. What a complete waste of time. I should've known after struggling to find a working screen that it was just going to be downhill from there. I'll drive out of my way to Jacksonville before I go back...

I ordered a large popcorn chicken and waited about five mins for it to make its way to me. They were barely warm so i pressed the button & explained it to the carhop, he was also the one taking orders. I dont think ppl realize how hard a carhop works. The work is easy, the job can be really frustrating. The carhop was great, he was a super friendly young man. I swore I would remember his name but I waited like a month to do this review, this virus has got me going in circles. Hopefully he's the only one at Alexandria Sonic he was working at night he looked about 17 or 18 had dark hair. I want to make sure he gets props because he handled the situation just like anybody working customer service is supposed to but most don't. He apologized, came right out, he apologized again and corrected the situatuon & I got fresh, hot and juicy pieces of chicken. I will definitely go back, sh*t happens sometimes, I'm not giving them a bad review off...
