they were having computer problems and we had to wait 30 minutes for our food. they apologized over and over again but we were really dissatisfied with the wait. the cashier said they were having issues before they opened, and that they delayed opening for 2 hours because of the problem. they took our order and then said the system crashed. we weren't sure if our card had already been charged so we waited, they took our card again two more times and never even began making our order, we sat in line for over 15 minutes, then they told us to pull forward. we pulled forward and continued waiting another 10 minutes before I finally decided to go in store. the manager last minute offered us a pie, we don't want pie we wanted a refund for our meal. as soon as I said this she said "That was out of our control have a wonderful day!" in a very snarky tone. No. It was out of OUR control, because you took our order without telling us you were having issues with your system, proceeded to have us wait while you tried to resolve it and only offered any type of courtesy for our horrible experience after I had to physically walk into the store from the drive through, you did not ask us what we might like, what you could do to rectify the situation, just said "give them a pie". I am extremely disappointed in the experience we had today. I went to review through corporate and guess what? we were not given a physical receipt so I could not. Next time do not open the store and take orders you are unable to process. And yes that was within your control! Bad start for a new manager! Corporate should be alerted to the issue with your computer system! Hiding the problem and making the customers wait for "fast food" that takes 30+ minutes to fulfill is ridiculous. We didn't drive off because we were confused if our card had already been charged or not! I have worked in fast food, in situations like this, the customer would have been given the food for free. This manager needs to remember that without the customer, the job does not exist! This location already has a terrible reputation in the community. You should be doing everything in your power to provide exceptional customer service, no matter what the circumstances are. It's your responsibility to make sure your restaurant is operating correctly, if...
Read moreThis review is solely based off my experience today at the drive-through around 2 PM . I went through the drive-through. The drive-through time was pretty pretty good. I spent about $32 off three kids meals, two tacos and a nacho fry box deluxe. I had requested the Doritos Locos taco supreme And the beefy layer to add rice and extra nacho cheese. I drove up, met up with a girl at the window, got my food . Just as I was driving home, I opened up my box cause I was so eager to eat my food to notice. My fries were extremely cold not only cold, but shriveled up. I don’t think those things have seen some heat in a while . First of all, they’re are hold times Extremely advise the store manager or shift leads That they need to educate their employees on hold And the importance of it due to quality and health hazards. Also, when I got back home, and finally got to dig into my beefy And my Doritos Locos taco Doritos Locos taco Was not supreme, so I was upcharged for absolutely no reason. Also, my burrito was full of beans and rice. There was hardly any nacho cheese. So again, I was overcharged for something that I did not receive. For a business that is licensed through Taco Bell I expect a lot more. No wonder people drive to Hazelgreen Or the hood in North Huntsville To get Taco Bell, because boy The incompetence, The quality Accuracy is so much better that it’s worth driving 10 miles than two in our local Meridianville Taco Bell/KFC . This is left so that the Store Manager and the Store Manager leads educate their employees and train...
Read moreThere is something about this place. It seems like there is always something wrong with the order. I was overcharged for a Quesadilla meal this most recent visit. Check your receipts! They had the wrong price in the computer. Another time they gave me the wrong sauces. The cashier didn't ring them up so the back didn't get the correct info. But the manager was dismissive rather than fixing the issue. Another time I was given fries instead of mashed potatoes. Yet another time, they called my order so I took it and started driving home, but I am glad I checked my bag at the stop light because my quesadilla was missing. I had to go back. Many other times, the lobby was closed way before it should have been. My recommendation to the franchisee is to hire more effective managers.
Update: changed my review from 2 stars to 1 star. On another day, I walked in the lobby around 7:50 pm and used the bathroom before I ordered. When I walked out of the bathroom, an employee saw me and told me the lobby is closed...even though the door was unlocked. There are no excuses for these fast food restaurants opening and closing whenever they want. Covid is over.
Another update: It's about a month or two after my last update. It's 4:15PM on a Tuesday afternoon and the lobby is closed. I am beginning to think that Tacala can't afford to hire more people. Other fast food franchises don't seem to have this issue anymore. How is Taco Bell supposed to win the franchise wars running their...
