UPDATE: 11/18/2023: Saturdays are even busier than the weekday just so y'all know. Ordered a 3 stack of pancakes. WOW. Note to self they are HUGE! I had to re-plate them at home and split the stack and still couldn't finish them. They're the size of a dinner plate and about an inch thick. Very good! And now i have leftovers for Sunday breakfast too!
Update 10/14/2023: There might have been a mighty long line in front of me and behind me (went around the bldg out the drive and up Hwy 231/431) but it moved super fast!! Bacon, egg &cheese biscuit -excellent as always. Tried the cinnamon roll today too. Was real good but I find the royal icing to be too sugary sweet. Would be fantastic with a cream cheese icing. (Comparable to Cinnabon in my opinion!) The sweet tea is pretty darn good too! New owners are doing a fantastic job!
Review date 7/19/2023: I don't know what has stopped me from trying Biscuit Express all these years but man do I wish I had tried them 23 yrs ago when I first moved here! The Biscuits are top notch, none better than these!! The bacon, egg & cheese biscuits are yummy and so filling. The chicken biscuit with cheese and add bacon, ohh wow, so good! The chicken is seasoned and breaded perfectly! I WILL be back!! Their prices are not current on the board but they are working to fix that. I think the prices are good for the amount of food you get, so worth...
Read moreOk first of people lets get this straight this isn't a breakfast with white tablecloths on tables this is drive thru food. Mom and pop shop. The lady isn't there for sweet nothings she is there to review your order take money and hand the food out the window. The food is what you come for. Big plentiful food. Homemade like grandma makes it. Priced at Today's prices not 1950's people. If you are going to complain about the price or service please move back to where you came from. This is old South Flos dinner kiss my. One thing make sure you get all the items you order before you pull away. Get all the condiments and napkins and straws. Mustard ketchup etc. Number two know that you are going to get feed like your neighbor bringing over dinner to feed an army. Most people have a problem eating double burgers and if you are brave enough to order one you will see. Breakfast is big biscuits overstuffed burritos and pancakes you get like vegas bigger this isnt frozen food people reheated in microwave this real people cooking real food with portions. Yes you have to wait in line. An you have to decide if it is worth it. Thats a personal thing. It is an always will be for me. Yes, its sad with german Shepards next door being out no food and water. An complains to animal control dont seem to work. But, this place is good for food real real food. Not like...
Read moreThe breakfast here is unbeatable. I've tried a wide variety of their breakfast items, and everything is as good as it can get. Be careful when you order the pancakes, though; it's a surefire way of getting pulled around to the second window, where you have to navigate your way across the drive-through line to get out. There's also an issue with the red and white checkered wrappers they use for their items, specifically the pancakes. The red ink comes off on the food, so we always end up discarding the bottom pancake.
Their lunch is a bit of a different story. Since I guess new owners took over, the lunch isn't quite as good as it used to be. The biggest complaint is the price increase. There is a sign on the menu stating that current prices are different from what is shown, which I assume most folks would think means it's gone up a couple of dollars. However, the price of the chicken finger dinner has doubled, and the quality isn't nearly as good. That sign has been on the menu for a little while now, so it almost feels like they are being a bit deceptive.
All in all, I highly recommend the breakfast and suggest you move on down the...
