It was the 6th Annual Blues, Brew & BBQ event at Washington Park yesterday afternoon. Park was crowded with large groups of people with their families, pets on leashes and more than enough of vendors (food, ales, crafts). I masked up and stayed to watch the blues bands performed. Quite enjoyable and entertaining. Of cpurse, I was hand clapping and feet tapping to them down home blues.
The weather was nice on a Sunday afternoon and people were enjoying themselves. I stopped at one of the vendors who was selling bean pies and German chocolate cake shooters. The shooter was a little tube of "henny". Y'all know what that means...Hennessey...hey!

Read moreI flew my Phantom 3 Professional for the first time on the empty baseball field. I continued fly there for the 6 months I lived nearby. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of curious people who would cautiously approach me. I answer their many questions best I could, remember, I was a beginner. Most just wanted to see the bird's eye view on my tablet, and I made many friends, I didn't fly near any people on the ground. And sometimes I quit flying because some people needed to use my landing area for soccer practice. I don't recommend this park for drone racers too many people. Sometimes the courts are full during popular hours so you have to wait a bit. There's a system where you set your arrival time but nobody really uses it, so usually we just end up asking people when they'll be done.
