Moved to Alamo six months ago, found this place and I’ve been back at least twice a week for breakfast without fail. The food is great, very fresh and made to order - prices are super affordable. The cozy atmosphere is a throwback, employees and customers are all friendly and engaging.
Kim, the owner, has done a great job of honoring her family’s business. Been in the family for quite some time. If you’re in the area - please give them a try as you won’t be disappointed.
What do I get? I’ll tell you...
Breakfast Order - two eggs, bacon, sourdough, potatoes...the bacon is thick and ridiculously good
Lunch - just had a cheeseburger today, it was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve had in a very long time. Fries were on point as well
Thanks for the read - hopefully see you...

Food is typical, nothing to rave about. The bathroom is way to difficult and inconvenient to get to, the angry cook has to move in order for you to get to it and he's not happy about it at all. Our group of 4 people arrived at 10am on Sunday with only a party of 2 people in front of us, great right? Wrong, seated at 10am and completed at 11:45am...almost 2 hours for eggs and bacon...and 8 cups of coffee while we...

Best items are blueberry pancakes and their bacon. The 🥓 is far better than the many top breakfast spots I’ve tried throughout the Bay Area. Corned Beef IS very good and authentic - it's just thinly sliced rather than chunky, which is different. Eggs Benedict is great. We always get brunch so we don't know the lunch menu all that well. We come mid-morning so rarely have much of a wait. This place is old school, great breakfast dining so if that's your jam, check it out. Don't knock it for not being something other...
