Ok. So for whatever reason when we went to get food today on 5/17/25, they didn’t have any fountain drinks. That’s fine, sign they put on the drive thru box said they had sweet and unsweet tea. Guy proceeds to tell us they’re out of fountain drinks, we go ahead and order, and he asks us if we want combos. We say yes, assuming we’re getting tea. Also ordered two 4pc nugget jr. meals, a 4pc order of jalapeño poppers, and one burger plain with only lettuce and mayo. Tried to order churros but they were out of those too.
Pull up to the window, pay for our food. Guy gives us our bags and closes the window assuming we’re done. No drinks. Opens the window, “are you missing anything?” We proceed to ask for our teas, then says they don’t have that either. Ok cool so they have no problem charging me for a combo and giving me no drink whatsoever. Dude ends up getting us a couple bottle waters.
We head home. Realize the fries have 0 salt on them. Those two 4 pc nugget jr meals, turn out to be 3 pieces. Each missing a nugget. Those jalapeño poppers, shriveled up husks of a popper with little to no filling probably from sitting under a heat lamp for what was probably hours. On top of that, our mayo and lettuce burger had everything on it, not even remotely how we ordered…. Too far to go back and argue and our kids were nearing bedtime.
I understand things happen with supplies, and you can’t control if you’re out of stock on certain items, but if you want to be lazy and not even complete an order correctly that already started out on a bad note, then do the world a favor and close your restaurant, and hire a new staff while you’re at it, because you clearly have no desire to be working.
As for the manager of this location, if you care enough to look into our order. It was order #44, Total: $34.59, around 8pm on May 17th at the Tower Rd and Expressway 83 location. But based off how well you run your restaurant, I’m pretty sure you don’t care about looking at...
Read moreGot to the speaker and was told they were only taking orders for chicken or fish...we actually wanted chicken, so we ordered. I added bacon and cheese to one of the chicken sandwiches, it took over five minutes to receive our order, which I thought it was taking longer than usual because of the bacon and cheese, but when we got home, the bacon and cheese was missing. I tried calling the store to let them know but the line was busy. I couldn't get through the line after trying for over 30 minutes, so I gave up and just ate the sandwich. Another thing...the cashier gave me "a ton" of ketchup packets and we didn't even order fries. She asked me at the speaker if I wanted any dipping sauce for the nuggets and I said ranch. Before leaving, I checked the bag for the ranch and it was not included, I honked and knocked on the window and she ignored me. Finally, she came to the window, I gave her all the handful of ketchup packets and asked for the ranch, I should have checked my sandwich as well...but after all the time we had to wait, I TRUSTED, they were working hard to get it right. Yet, still got it wrong, unless it was purposely done. Not to mention....the Hershey's sundae pies were not cold, they were melted, as if they had been placed in the warmer. Shame on me for ever visiting this location again, after having bad experiences in the past. I'd never reviewed them...but I think it's time. May God help everyone who has a job to do, to do it well...and be grateful for it. She may have behaved "nice"...but only God knows what's truly in the heart. If someone doesn't care for the people they serve, step down and give a chance to those who truly care and appreciate...
Read moreI went there about 5 days earlier than this visit and all the food was fine. So I go back on Wed. 5-24-2023 The girl at the drive through window was nice and attentive. I ordered with a coupon for 2 whopper jr's & 2 medium fries at a descent price. I asked for cheese on both burgers which was on the receipt. I also asked for no pickles or onions on both burgers. The order was repeated back to me through the speaker. One burger had lettuce and ONION no tomato & NO CHEESE. The 2nd burger was prepared without onions or pickles but again NO CHEESE! On top of that I live 5 minutes from this burger king and the fries & burgers were cold when I took them out of the bag at home. The 2 whopper jr.'s were also hard and dry which means they were probably just sitting out for who knows how long. The friday before everything was still warm once home. What gives? It's like I went to 2 entirely different restaurants. Are you perhaps treated or cheated differently because of coupon use? In any case this is the last time I visit burger king at any location anywhere. I've had way too many bad experiences with this chain. It used to be that a franchise owner cared about the quality of what they served but now some burger kings are ran by a group that might own anywhere from 20 to over 100 burger kings which means the overall quality suffers when there is little or no corporate oversight. From now on it's Whataburger, 5 guys and maybe even Wendys where at each of these restaurants mentioned your order is made...
