Extremely Disappointed – Loyal Customer Let Down by Dimond Center Chili’s
I’ve been a loyal customer of the Dimond Center Chili’s for years. I come in so often that most of the servers know my regular order without even asking. That kind of connection doesn’t happen overnight—it’s built through years of consistent visits and trust. Or at least, it used to be.
Just last week, I dined in at this same location and left a $300 tip on a $40 bill. I did it out of genuine appreciation for the great service and to show support for the staff. I’ve always spoken highly of your restaurant and recommended it to friends and family. Sadly, that loyalty was completely disregarded during my most recent experience.
I placed a $68.95 DoorDash order from the Dimond Center Chili’s, and the food I received was entirely incorrect. Not just a missing item or a small mistake—the entire order was wrong. Naturally, I reached out to both DoorDash and Chili’s for help, expecting a basic level of accountability. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable—just the correct food, a refund, or even an apology. Instead, I was met with zero resolution and complete indifference.
Neither DoorDash nor the Chili’s team took any responsibility. I was left with the wrong food, no refund, and no help. After everything I’ve spent at this location—and the level of support I’ve shown—this was a slap in the face.
I’ve spent countless dollars here, dined in regularly, tipped generously, and built relationships with the staff. To be treated this way, with absolutely no effort made to fix a major mistake, is incredibly disappointing.
I never thought I’d have to write a review like this, but I can’t stay silent. Unless this is addressed properly, I will not be returning to the Dimond Center Chili’s—neither for dine-in nor delivery. It’s a shame to see such a long-standing relationship end on such a...
Read moreWhat a horrible experience! We took my son to eat there for his upcoming 30th birthday on Friday, 16 Feb. A party of 5 adults and two children. They told us it would be about 5 mins to get our table. 40 mins later and after seating about 8 other parties we finally get our table. We place our drink order and ordered appetizers at the same time. Only one of the appetizers was delivered shortly after the drinks. Our food was delivered, in part only, about 35 mins later. Our 6 yr granddaughter did not get her food, we were missing our rib main entree from our plate, and the second appetizer wasn’t served yet either. We were done eating our food before the 6yr old’s meal, the ribs, and the appetizer arrived to the table. She wouldn’t eat any longer as we all had given her food from our plates. Oh, the appetizer was served without the guacamole. We were asking for to go plates from the so called general manager. We complained that we were taking food because it was brought to us so late into the meal. The manager told us she would take the meal off the bill but only if she could have it back so she could throw it away. Even though it was their fault we weren’t able to enjoy the food. She proceeded to tell us that was their new policy, in order to remove the item, she would have to take it and throw it away. She told us if we were unhappy with their policy we could send in a complaint and that it would come straight to HER! Why even bother, if she is the one that will get the complaint!! We handed her the food for her to throw away, paid our bill, and walked out. I would not recommend this establishment for dining!! After all this, with her raising her voice at us and acting unprofessionally, I still left a tip. It hurt to do so, I think much of the blame was on our server, but I still left him a tip. Bad experience, bad service, and bad attitude from Toni, the...
Read moreThe food at this location is always pretty good. Service is usually great. Their manager Jimmie is a different story. Very immature and unprofessional. Reason’s being I lost my debit card on the way to the restaurant. I was just walking the mall and decided to get a appetizer from here before heading home. I let the bartender know (I couldn’t find my debit card because I was at the bar) what had transpired and that I needed to find my debit card. He called for the manager. I explained to the manager *Jimmie my situation and he immediately became rude and offensive to me. No understanding or compassion for what i was telling him. As if I was lying. A honest mistake turned into me being belittled and spoken to like I intended to do this. Which is silly because it was fried pickles. Why come and try to get over off a appetizer Jimmy? No drink. Just fried pickles. I would of gotten an Entree Jimmie. Im already having a rough time losing two family members to cancer in one week. This week. Yesterday and today to be exact. I wanted to sit down by myself for a while and relax for a moment to get away from the world. Not to be down talked by an underpaid chain restaurant manage over a barely 10.00 meal. Jimmie’s actions led me to believe he was judging me and judging me by my race. After being offended I got loud and spoke my feelings on what he had done towards me. You never know what a person is dealing with and going through. You should treat every one with respect. So because he felt like I wasn’t able to pay he didn’t see a reason to respect me in my opinion. No way.
*If you are a person of beautiful dark skin….please know your money is the only the only thing respected...
