Unfortunate experience tonight with the service. A party of 20 is a huge group i get it. But after calling to make reservations they obviously knew we were coming because they had the table ready for us so the server in the area was obviously aware a large group was coming in. It took 1 hour for us to get a water... partially because the server disapeared for 27 minutes (we timed her) after tanking our apatizer and only taking part of our parties drink order then returned smelling like alcohol so stronly that all of the adults in our party were shocked.
Another server noticed our frustration and began taking our food and drink orders and was very helpful and apologetic for having no idea where our server had gone to.
When she did return to attempt to take our order the original server was going on and on about it taking so long to change out the soda machine in the back. Sad story when one of us is a service tech for Pepsi and knows exactly how long it doesn't take to change out a soda machine :( The worse part of it all was that our original server kept saying how the second server that showed up to help had messed everything up (even though it was all correct via the second server) everything except the appetizer that we had ordered with the first server. An excuse she keept trying to use as to why she couldn't figure out what to put on each check at the end.

The host kept seating people in her area, and instead of asking him to reseat or help, she spent the entire time complaining very loudly about everything. "I just want to run away" "I've already had a thousand dollars in sales, and I just got here", screaming into the kitchen, all while throwing the other waitress under the bus, and barking at her every time communication was attempted. Everyone seated in the bar area looked like scared school children, eating quietly and nervously. After 20 minutes of waiting at the bar to place a takeout order, we finally just place an online order. It took an additional 30 minutes for the same waitress to acknowledge that we had been waiting for awhile. She then hastily punched in our online order and messed it up (I have a gluten intolerance, put multiple gluten-free indicators, still got a wheat bun - wonder if anyone in that restertaunt ever had a loved-one ingest allergens because absolutely nobody at the resteraunt cared to clarify?? I wish I could have vomited in your parking lot but instead i ended up on the side of the road). Apprently, this was all the fault of every employee that refused to show up that day - LADY! Read moreSo I'm sitting here at the Dimomd Red Robin as I type this review. I'm honestly questioning my reaction to my interaction with management, and hope to get some online feedback. We came in after seeing a promotion they were having where you can buy a $50 gift card and receive a $10 card on the house. After arriving, afyer some confusion with the staff,they informed us that the promotion ended on January 1st, amd though they were still advertising it, they would not honor it. To be fair, there was small print at the bottom claiming January 1st was the end of said promotion, and the manager informed me that the gift cards for the special promotion weren't even in stock anymore. Although I am annoyed that they couldn't give me the deal, my main issue is with the manager Daniel. His attitude was poor and after shifting blame to others for the promotion still being posted,during the conversation when I said my online review would reflect what I viewed as poor management of the establishment, he informed me that he wasn't worried about it.
