My first visit to LuLus was not a great experience. They had almost no bagels or pastries or bread and there was only 1 worker in the place. In LuLu's defense, it WAS 3pm. But I was still sorely disappointed at the utter lack of baked goods a Bakery had to offer.

So I decided to give it another shot at redemption and decided to go for a morning visit. I was pleasantly surprised to find they had ay least 25 bagels in every type and flavor and there were tons a pastries and loaves of bread.

I ordered a chai tea latte and a goat cheese veggie on sourdough. Both of my orders were finished quickly and tasted spectacular! The chai tea latte was rich yet lite and had the perfect sweetness. The sourdough bread on my sandwich was great - soft and delicious on the inside with a very crusty outside that gave a satisfying crunch when you bite into it. The goat cheese gave the sandwich such great flavor and the tomatoes and onions and lettuce gave it crunch and body and a freshness that all sandwiches need.

I can say with certainty that I will be back here to enjoy some of the other treats they have to offer - but do yourselves a favor and only come...

I've mostly had great experience w/ online ordering -- great food and drink, and employees always check on my order when I'm in if it's not already waiting at counter.

However, not so much today. After arriving and picking up drink, I asked if my breakfast order was ready. They said it was being made, and they'd call me when it was finished. I then waited 40 minutes while the worker at the bagel station was screaming at her co-workers to clean their stations as "I keep getting blamed for everything." I finally asked the status of my order, and she barked "Well, what's your name?" She then went to the back and handed me my cold food, that had apparently been sitting there the whole time. All the other employees were extremely kind.

Hopefully the other employees can provide her the...

Great bagel place!!! I knew it was a popular and delicious place when the line was almost out the door 10min after the shop opened. My group each had a bagel sandwich, which was made fresh and was piping hot when we got it. One of my group members orders was incorrect and when he notified staff, they rushed the correct order at no charge. The wait was a little on the long side as they only had one person making the food, one cashiering and one as a barista. I am assuming they were short staffed like every other restaurant so this really should be a 4.5 stars cause they can't help the staffing. Lulu's is a fun little place in Fairbanks with great bagels and other baked breakfast pastries (chocolate cranberry...

My wife & I spent a week in Fairbanks & liked Lulu's so much that we ate breakfast there twice. Lulu's bread is really fantastic. I had a BLT with goat cheese on french bread & a turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce & cream cheese on french bread, both equally awesome. My wife ordered an egg bacon & cheese sandwich on multigrain, a blueberry peach smoothie, a decaf cappuccino with hazelnut syrup, and a slice of veggie quiche with sweet potato crust. The atmosphere was casual and the service was friendly. If you're looking for a quick bite for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or packing for a picnic, Lulu's is the place to go.

I like the bagels and bread they serve as much as the next person, but on this visit was dissapointed to notice that they are not paying attention to the details, like this dust and random coffee beans behind the coffee machine. Don't look up too much else you're start noticing the dust too. Also a small nitpick, but if you're serving green tea the water shouldn't be so hot that it burns the tea leaves. I'm sure Sipping Streams could provide some recommendations on how to serve the tea right.
