Lemongrass Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Alaska

This is the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to. No questions. The food was ridiculously fresh and flavorful, and the service was the best I’ve had at a restaurant in YEARS. We had the veggie rolls- wraps were fried light and crisp to perfection, and the veggies inside were flavorful and cooked without being mushy. The sauce they were served with was light and sweet without being syrupy. The Panang Curry was the best curry I’ve ever eaten, with so much flavor and the perfect level is spice and creaminess. The Pad See Ew was one of the top 3 in my life. Not quite as sweet as I like but cooked so perfectly— the noodles meat and eggs were caramelized and the veggies weren’t mushy. The servers and staff there are also excellent. Kind, clear, and super attentive. My water glass was refilled at least 7 times and I didn’t ever have to ask. We visited this restaurant 2 times during our visit to Fairbanks. This place is really good. The atmosphere is great and the staff is friendly. The food is very delicious. I reduced one rate because the food is more expensive and the quality is very less. They need to work on improving food quantity and service. Their service is good but when the restaurant becomes full then the service is very slow as they give more importance to regular local people than the tourist which was our observation.

So coming to the food it's really delicious and they have vegan options too. This is our first time having sea food varieties in Thai cuisine. We had tom Kha soup, khao soi with sea food, sweet chilly calamari, pineapple fried rice and halibut ginger, for dessert mango sticky rice and raspberry cake. All were delicious. There's no restaurant that I tell more people about than the lemongrass I guess yesterday was as close as I get to being disappointed I asked for spring roll over the phone but my voice is a little raspy right now and they gave me egg rolls. They were delicious I love their fried duck and their plum sauce that goes with it and I usually pick up an extra pint to take home I have tried to expand my horizons in order other items and I have not found one that the first time the spoon or Fork hits my lips that I don't go wow. They're used to spices especially fresh spices is magnificent. I've been cooking alongside my mother since I was 5 years old until she became too old to cook and I am now 75.
