Roadside Inn — Restaurant in Alaska

Paid 65 dollars per day for about 3 weeks.

Room service - disorganized, but the maid was nice.

The remote did not work for volume and channel up and down. The room was extremely hot and stuffy a fan to 'help' cool down. No table or night stands in the room I was in. But they did have wifi.

Bartenders smile and are courteous to locals, but regular visitors, not really the same, well there is one polite bartender left there, the other one quit. Food service, quality and politeness very poor when the bartender is 'in charge'. Meaning - the boss is not around.

Food depends on the cook. I noticed people favored one cook over the other and the quality of food was poor and occasionally good - clearly I didn't know...

A cozy little gem which you'll miss if you blink, right off the highway going towards Big Lake from Wasilla. Friendly atmosphere, great service, good food, two halves.

I was on the sports bar restaurant side although the diner side looks remarkably quiet and relaxed. The sports bar restaurant side was quite the polar opposite. A bit loud but that's just due to the small size. The food was great, the prices weren't exorbitant.

Always ask what the daily special is otherwise you might miss out!

To begin to list the atrocities at this place would be hard, there are simply too many. The food is horrible, especially the breakfast. They hire washed out "cooks" that don't care about the food they serve. If you can call it food as it's not edible. Over priced, dirty dishes and tables, rude unfriendly wait staff. Some chick named Angie gave me the worst customer service I've ever had in a bar. I hear the owners are greedy aholes that just want money. This was coming from regulars I I met there. I guess lack of options keeps this place...
