On the positive side, the atmosphere was refreshingly contemporary. Very clean...nice lighting...interesting art on the wall. Altogether, it had a homey feel (although seeing the image a bloodied civil rights activist did not enable my appetite...who in their right mind wants to see that while ordering/eating their food).
At any rate, as a 1st time guest, I ordered the catfish and shrimp. When I got home, I opened my bag. Unfortunately, the food was...EXTREMELY greasy. The catfish, shrimp AND the fries were soggy and inundated with oil. The only way I was able to finish the meal was by covering it up with hot and tarter sauce to make it edible. It tasted like milquetoast indifferent Chicago-style slop.

i placed my order at 12:08 so I came back in and went across the street to get a fruit bowl and it was 1230 by then they still didn’t have my order ready so the chef came out told me that it was cooked fresh so it would be another 20 more minutes so I told them I’ll be back I went home came back. My order still wasn’t ready. Other than that. The chicken was good the star ⭐️ of the show and the pizza 🍕 puff was good. Also, the shrimp and catfish didn’t have any seasoning!!
