Red Wok — Restaurant in Albany

This has to be the absolute worst Chinese place I've ever had, only thing would've made it more worst is finding a dead insect in my meal. I ordered the sesame chicken with rice and if you thinking about ordering the same meal I warn you ahead of time take your business elsewhere. The sesame chicken had no sesame on it what so ever, not sure if it was actually sesame chicken tbh it definitely didn't taste like it do when it's ordered from majority Chinese restaurants. It was disgusting 🤢 and to make matters worse the rice it comes with is no Chinese white/ fried rice it's actually yellow rice I mean yes yellow rice the same rice black people use when they make chicken and rice meals. Like are you kidding me this place can not still be in business I just don't see how they are able to do so with such nasty food and preparation. It doesn't look appealing nor taste anything close to good. Also ordered shrimp rolls omg they are laughable, I mean one tiny shrimp rolled up in it and the shrimp roll itself is so small you'll be done in 2 bites. Please if you are reading this don't ever ever ever ever go to red rok unless you trying to feed your pet cat or dog this is not a place for humans to be eating please shut this place down,...

First time there because I thought they were closed down by the way it looks outside... However, saw a car in the drive-thru so I pulled in and the guy working was patient and answered all my questions at the window. I'm no Fancy Nancy, it doesn't take much to please me and they checked all my boxes when it comes to carryout dining. My order came out fast(~3 minutes just like any other drive-thru) and the food was hot and So Good! Great low prices, and I assume that's why the exterior looks a little rough. No idea what the circumstances are for the owner in regards to the appearance of this restaurant, but hopefully these good reviews help with business and the place can get a makeover soon. Business would really boom for them then, in my opinion.. Maybe they don't want that extra pressure, idk🤷... But I've driven by this place for a year and never stopped bc I was sure they were out of business, but glad I was wrong and gave it a go....

I ordered a Spring Roll and Chicken LO Mein with extra onions. And I actually just wanted the Spring Roll tonight because my stomach wasn't feeling well. And when my husband got home the Spring Roll wasn't in the bag!! I called the restaurant and told them and they said we forgot to put it in there. I told him we live approximately 15 miles from there so for our gas to come back over I should be at least compensated with 2 Spring Rolls since it was their fault. Of course he stated they could not do that because he was not responsible for our gas.... NEEDLESS TO SAY THEIR RESTAURANT WILL NOT SHUT DOWN FOR GIVING ONE SPRING ROLL FOR THEIR MISTAKE!!!

IVE SPENT A LOT OF MONEY AT THIS RESTAURANT BUT I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DIME!...
