Lemon Pepper Fish and Chicken Albany — Restaurant in Albany

I Spent almost $50 last Saturday only to find out I was missing the 2 pieces of cake that I ordered. The phone number listed on the receipt is not accurate so I had to Google the number. I explained to Drea what happened and she asked me when would I like to return; I told her Tuesday...well today is Tuesday and I explained to lady w/dreads what happened and I still had my receipt and she said Drea wasn't there due to death in the family, understandable but surely there's another manager so then she says we out of Strawberry Cake, I said we agreed Tuesday and she wrote my name down. So I pull around to the window and she standing there holding the bag out the window and I'm like what is this...oh that's the cake...so didn't you just tell me y'all were out of the strawberry cake??? So I was asked to pull up front and I'm order number 43 and the young guy w/ dreads is handing orders out left and right to other cars so I sat over 20 mins and finally he comes back and say what number are you again I said 43 and he says I just gave you that..... l said no you didn't cause if you did why TF would I still be sitting here and he hauls a$$ back in the building 😒 then 5 mins later here he comes again 😒 with the order. Just lying all the way around. Moral of the story I won't be taking my a$$ back up there you can believe that... Please evaluate the people you are hiring, the customer service was very poor and then to lie about my order not once but TWICE was unacceptable. Best of luck... but I won't...

My uncle said the food here was good. I noticed the bright Monroe high school colors and that it looked like an old check cashing place. Bright lights inside/ large menu board/smelled like cleaning supplies. Cafeteria style seating inside. Every part of the chicken fried, also fried fish, burgers, chicken Alfredo and easy sides. Great prices and big portion. Everything fresh and hot. The fries are not anything special but they were abundant. I didn’t taste any signature lemon pepper on anything. Maybe the snapper had a little lemon pepper taste but not much. The two snapper combo were great price but fried too hard and were dry. I appreciate the large lemon slices. I asked for yellow rice-they gave me fries instead. The food didn’t take long and the servers were nice and helpful. The chicken was fried well but the taste wasn’t signature. We will turn into chickens eating all this bird. It would be nice to have some baked or blackened fish options, quality lettuce & veggie salad or other non-fried sides. The corn was basic. Gizzards were ok! Only had cheesecakes listed, no other desserts. Again great prices and...

While visiting family I stopped by this restaurant and ordered to go. I ordered the fish and gizzards and I specified catfish not tilapia. The gizzards were burned to a crisp and tasted horrible. I didn't eat the tilapia fish because that's not what I ordered. The french fries had this greasy wet consistency. The batter that was used for the fish felt like a Brilo pad. Please tell customers about the seasoning that is sprinkled on top of the food. Is that dry ranch seasoning? Horrible combination! Nonetheless I will never eat at this restaurant again. Please the receipt. I know there are better places to order fish...
