I do not live in the area. I got off this exit just to visit the Starbucks. The drive-thru was exactly long so I parked And went inside being that i had to be somewhere by a certain time. I ordered a bagel toasted with cream cheese. And a coffee drink. The person that ordered behind me Happen to be an employee. They grabbed their drink and my bagel and walked into the back. I said nothing. I waited a few minutes and told an employee that I had not received my bagel after already standing there holding my drink for 15 minutes. Another almost 15 minutes goes by and I had to go. I left without my food that I had paid for and no refund. I told the employee I'm sorry but I have to go now. Do you think they said "Wait", let me give you a refund. No, they did not. I don't know what your rules are as to what the employees are entitled to get for free during a shift. But you most certainly have employees or at least 1 that I know of that is a thief. When you're busy like that, you should have an employee paying more attention and being more organized. When you're throwing everybody's food and drinks in a disordered mess on the counter jumbled up together. This is literally the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Read moreI am a very regular customer to the north Albany location, where the service is wonderful and coffee and food is almost always spot on. I visited this new location today and I have to say that even though it is right around the corner for me I will be waiting at least a month before trying them again. I only go to starbucks for my coffee because they have such good food as well, honestly I can get a good coffee many places and there isn't anything special about starbucks (sorry but true) except that they have amazing food to pair it with. Its very rare that they are out of the item I order, but it happens and I understand and appreciate the WOW factor that comes in to play after when they give me my second choice for free. But today I had to order three different items before picking one that they had and was far from my first choice, I didn't receive much of an apology and the WOW factor was completely missed. Read moreInititially, my visit this morning was normal. I just wanted a pink drink & a breakfast sandwich. The person who took my order was very nice and friendly, and again when I got my order. I started driving away and took a bite of my sandwich. It was still cold in the middle. I thought okay, whatever, so turned my car around to get a replacement. The person I spoke to was rather short with me, albeit they did apologize for the inconvenience. They put my sandwich in to get warm, did you know they only take 25 seconds? They handed me my food and apologized rather shortly again and handed me the sandwich then turned away from me. I walked to my car, and when I got there and took a bite of my sandwich, alas. It was cold again. I always go to Human Bean, I came here this morning because I work night shifts so I can't have caffeine before bed. I just wanted a Starbs sandwich because they used to be one of my go tos, nearly every day. My pink drink lacks the luster I remember it having as well. I will not be visiting this...
