Albany Skatepark — Attraction in Albany

Anybody hanging out near this park needs to be careful. Especially if you are a woman or a child. There is another park across the street with picnic tables and a really nice play ground but it's not safe because of the skaters. I have been physically attacked by the skaters and harassed by them even if I was in the other park across the street. I have had water bottles thrown at me. I have had threats of death while being chased by a couple boys that were trying to throw fire works at me. The Albany Police wouldn't do anything about it. I have had minor boys pee infront of me and ask me for sexual favors. Of course I told them, 'NO.' Some of the picnic tables across the street were vandalized with sexual images drawn with a marker pen. I had to ask the police to clean it up. It's not appropriate for a children's park. It's unfortunate that they decided to build the skate park across from a family park knowing how teenagers are. Atleast one of the skaters seems to be a complete social path. He'll say things like, "I don't care", and then make threats of physical violence. There has been illegal car racing in this park. I almost got hit by a car when they were...

Came at 9am on a sunny summer Tuesday. No one around but me and my dog. On a scale of 1 to fun, I give it a “somewhat fun.” It was a little dirty but a couple of pieces of litter doesn’t ruin my day.

It’s nice that such a small town has any skatepark. This one is excellent for an area this size, and the Corvallis park is even nicer if you wanna scope...

It's a skate park. The lines are ok and the area for riding is small. The big bowl is deep not to good for new riders. The kids or adults hanging around the park look like they just got out of county jail, or maybe homeless. The are is not bad and there is a nice family park next to...
