I haven’t had an experience this bad at a Wendy’s for a while. The manager on duty when I went in this evening was NOT suited for her job. Period point blank. I have been a manager before, and it IS stressful. I get it. However, if she can’t handle the stress and dealing with issues when they arise then she does not need to have the position she has.
All of this simply because they did not have vanilla frosty. Because of this, half of my order would not have been able to be made as I had ordered it and my husband doesn’t prefer chocolate so I mentioned I would just cancel it. Keep in mind they had closed off their drive-thru so that people couldn’t go through—originally I ordered on the app and planned on driving through since I had dogs in the car. The girl at the register checked me in even after telling me they didn’t have my stuff— so then I couldn’t even cancel my order. I went in to ask for my money back since I couldn’t cancel or get my frosties as ordered. The manager on duty started raising her voice at me saying because I ordered on the app, she couldn’t do anything or give me a refund. I would have to call customer support to get the money back. I mentioned that was frustrating and she screamed and it was frustrating for her too and she’s the only manager on duty and then kind of growled and slammed her hand down. As I was walking out, she was loudly saying it wasn’t her fault and apparently having some sort of meltdown. I shouted back that I didn’t say it was her fault. Extremely unprofessional. I don’t know if she’s on drugs or if she’s just stressed. Either way she looks like she absolutely hates her job. Read moreIf I could give negative stars I would. First off, these people want $15 an hour?? The cashier looked anything but professional. She was wearing giant hoop earnings and a nice little bracelet.. I complimented her bracelet, but let me make something clear. It is against FDA regulations to wear a bracelet while working with food. Bacteria harbors in the teeny weeny crevices of those links. When she pooped earlier this morning in the employee bathroom, I can't help but think did she wash her bracelet thoroughly as well when she hopefully washed her hands?. I don't know about you, but I don't want her poopy bracelet in my food. Second, my boyfriend and I ordered $15 worth of food. We had to wait for "fresh " fries which were obviously just old fries that were re dipped into the hot oil in order to heat them up. They were disgusting. I asked for spicy nuggets and got regular. My boyfriend got a baconantor and asked for NO cheese and NO mayo. Sure enough they put both of those condiments on the burger. SMOTHERED it. As if they wanted to convert him to a cheese and mayo eater. Not really. He tried to eat it anyway and got sick. Again i have to ask... THESE PEOPLE WANT $15 AN HOUR??? The worst part is, this is a truck stop Wendys. They should be busy enough to have fresh oil at all times. These should be busy enough to know what the he'll they are doing. Ordered through door dash about a month-month and a half ago (I ordered a crispy chicken blt- I got a chicken sandwich with a piece of lettuce and mayo, ranch dressing for my fries/nuggets- didn't get, ordered a kids meal- didn’t get the drink or toy). Then we went again on 4/15/23 and the same thing happened. I ordered the $6 biggie bag with a crispy chicken blt- what I received was another chicken sandwich with lettuce. I was asked what kind of dressing I wanted for my nuggets and I asked/told them ranch which I didn’t receive. When I went to the counter to inform them I never got my ranch and my sandwich was wrong they seemed very upset, especially one of the ladies making the sandwiches who I believe may have been a manager. I told her and the cashier who took my order that I ordered a crispy chicken blt and told them what I know used to be on it thinking maybe I made a mistake and they changed what’s on it. The lady asked for my sandwich that was already in my hand and cold and just added the toppings rather than making a fresh sandwich and she seemed very frustrated and was rude. There was another customer who had ordered through drive through and was explaining to girl working drive through what happened as she had asked the customer and once again the lady making the sandwiches interrupted, handed her what she was missing and said “ok that’s enough. It’s fine now”. Then after all the orders were caught up she was complaining to her staff about all the customers making complaints. Will NEVER return to this wendys. Very...
