I am so done with the service in this Blakeās. The food is great but the experience is always ruined by those behind the counter. Workers are either poorly trained or rude.
We come in, the only two customers in the restaurant, and order two sandwiches. Weāre sitting at the table waiting, still nobody else in the resturant, and eventually we noticed they had put a bag on the counter that we hadnāt seen before. Nobody called our number, not once (we would have heard them because weāre sitting literally right there). Eventually we go up and politely ask if it is our food. We were very patient and nice but are immediately met with attitude and they claim theyāve been calling our order number for five minutes. Apparently they are incapable of noticing weāre the only two people in the restaurant and getting our attention? Then more rude behavior, one teenager has the audacity to say āwell enjoy your sandwichesā with all the sarcasm she could manage (including an eye roll), so we just grabbed our food, which was now cold, and left. Again, we were patient and kind and did nothing to provoke them.
This isnāt the first time service has been bad. The last time there was this woman working the computer who had erased ours and others orders three times trying to input it. It was incredibly difficult to get her to understand what we wanted and she could hardly work the machine. She ended up charging the guy in front of us four times his amount, which took forever to fix, and charged us for drinks we didnāt ask for and forgot our onion rings, which then took forever to have her understand what was wrong. I understand not everyone is perfect but this was severely holding up the line in the restaurant and I donāt understand how she didnāt understand the system if workers are supposed to be trained. Could you take some time to interview these people before you hire them and take the time...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have lived here since 2005, and this was my favorite place. For some reason the BLB on Paradise is not making their burgers consistent, with the other locations. The buns are dry and not toasted. They used to toast the buns and now they throw them on the grill dry, and pull them off and their heated with no oil or grease, and they heat them enough to where they get dry, but are not toasted and they don't add to the flavor of the burger like they used to, the buns are dry, and crumble when they are eaten, it's just not worth it to pay $30.00 for dinner for my family. They also do not add enough condiments to the burgers totally dry. They forgot my son's applesauce, in his kids meal tonight, too., And no ketchup in the bag at all. I called tonight to complain and was told someone would call me back to see how to handle this, as it has happened before, and asking them to toast the buns well, made no difference. I took pics of them and would like the owners of this chain see, what they are serving. They used to be bomb, quality has gone way down hill. The staff says nothing when you say "Thank you", rude. I'm done with this location, and will drive to the location in Golf Course, next time. And no surprise, it's been a half hour since I called and they requested my number and said they'd call me back. A bad experience in all areas of their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently stopped at the Blakeās Lotaburger in Ventana Ranch off Paradise to buy a two piece kids meal chicken and the person who came over the drive-through. I now know his name is Quentin, but I didnāt then was the epitome of professionalism. That was the best customer service I had had in quite some time and I frequent that restaurant because I live in the neighborhood and itās quick and easy and close by so when I go there and I ask for something in particular and one person does it and then I go back the next time and the other person has no idea what Iām talking about and then I go the next time and then the next person says yeah we donāt do that anymore. I just canāt even fathom how one thing causes three people to do something different but this Quentin person, even though he wasnāt familiar with what I was asking, he went above and beyond to find out what it was I was actually asking him to do and completed that task with flying Colors so anytime I go through that drive-through or the next time that I do, Iāll be asking what is the shift that Quentin works on because thatās the kind of customer service that I want especially in a day and time weāre getting good customer service from these young people is like pulling teeth so I was very appreciative. Whoever trained him Did...
