Cielito Lindo Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Albuquerque

Came here on a whim. Didn't feel like burgers or chicken. Ordered the shrimp, fish, octopus, crab leg, baked potato, and mixed vegetables with carrots and squash with flour tortillas. The baked potato seemed a bit dry. Still pretty good mixed with the cheese. The fish has some bread on it that clashes too much with the seafood and broccoli scattered on top. But the shrimp, octopus, mussels, and crab leg was awesome. I wonder if they would consider making that a burrito... Awesome food otherwise, just not a great choice for the fish on the plate I ordered. The fish had flavor, it just didn't fit in well with everything else. Maybe try ditching the bread batter for lemon and dill weed. Otherwise this plate is perfect. Just add more seafood and a few more tortillas....

I like this place, eat there often. Tried something different today, simple enchilada plate. Was good but not totally impressed as i normally am with other plates. Was bit bland for me. The rice was ok , think I'd choose a different side if possible though . My favorite plate being the bacon wrapped shrimp, baked potato, spaghetti , side garnish, (and piece of meat lol which i can do with or without) . That's my normal go to plate. Caldo de res another good one. Chips. ,salsa, and cheese dip is good to snack on while waiting for your food or try shrimp tostada, (it's big enough share too). Portions are decent amount that if your one that will eat left overs , you might have for later in the day. A plus... Its close to home and don't have to go...

My sister and I decide to have lunch at Cielito lindo the service was great no complain about it. But like always there something to complain we asked for a platter of appetizers the chicken flautas were bad it would leave that bad tast in my mouth. So we let them know they apologize for the bad flautas. So we order our food my sister order a taco plate desebrada, the meat was cold and way to salty it was not eatable. So we requested to exchange the food for something else, my sister requested a caldo 7mares, when she was eating it a tiny piece of metal was in the fish, I just can't believe what of a bad experience we had at this place! Be careful wene you come and eat at...
